CUNNINGHAM GAS PRODUCTS

I received poor installation and warranty service from this company. Instead of using gas log trained installers Cunningham's sent store salesman to install my set. The salesman Jose informed me the installer had just quit which was why he was asked to perform the install. The first set was installed incorrectly, too large. He placed a 30" log set in my 26" fireplace. Jose also refused to install the damper clamp I requested for safety, stating I didn't need it and he even took the clamp that came with the set with him when he left. The second set was installed by a second salesman Rodney. Within a couple of weeks of installation I contacted Cunningham's to report flame burning issues of flames going off and on with intermittent flashing of flames as explosions. Cunninghams promised a return call for service which did not occur until I contacted them a third time. I was even asked to forward a video of what was occurring before the service would be scheduled by Rodney. Rodney, not a serviceman showed up for my service, after witnessing the issue, he stated he had no idea why it was occurring or how to fix it. He rearranged the logs causing heavy soot to spray everywhere and told me if it continues to occur to just stir the flames up and let the gases escape. The next day I notified Cunningham's the issue continued and I had safety concerns. My contacts with them via phone calls ans emails for service, warranty and repair were ignored. Requests to speak with owner Jeff Cunningham were also ignored. I later received an email from Rodney stating Jeff told him to inform me they would no longer be servicing, repairing or providing warranty service and would like to schedule removal of the log set. At that time I again requested the owner to contact me, which did not occur. In contacting the manufacturer of the log set I was informed improper installation as the cause and that gas and fumes leakage could have resulted in a very bad outcome and immediate and proper re-installation was required.

Excellent product selection and service. They scheduled the work around my schedule and arrived on time. I am very happy with the product and service I received.

We would use them again in the future..

I'n an attempt to use local businesses instead of big box stores, I had these guys refill a regular sized BBQ grill propane tank for me.  I made the mistake of not asking the price first. They charged me $23.60 for the amount of gas that would have cost me $8 at the truck stop on Richey Rd or $15 to replace at Home Depot.  RIP OFF!  

The whole process was very professional, punctual, and easy.
I first visited the Spring location (there's also a Woodland's location) on Saturday 11/23, the Saturday before Thanksgiving.  I knew I wanted gas logs, but I didn't know much about them.  I spoke with consultant Brent, who, after indicating I knew nothing of gas logs, proceeded to provide all I wanted and needed to know about gas logs in a very short period of time.  No sales pitch, no pressure; he gave the information I needed and let me and my girlfriend decide what product we wanted, but was available to answer any further questions we had.
We decided on their best selling log set as well as they wireless remote/pilot light option.  It was in stock, and they had an install date available the immediately following Wednesday 11/27, the Wednesday just before Thanksgiving.  The tech and his helper/trainee was on time, and very efficient with the installation.
I've had questions and some issues with the wireless option, but Brent and the installer have been very responsive and helpful following the sale, which I believe to be the sign of an excellent provider.  Brent has even given me tips and pointers on other gas products for the home, which were not accompanied (yet) by any purchase!  But they will be my first choice for purchases of any gas products because of the experience I had with Brent and Cunningham Gas Products!

They were on time. I have always been pleased with their service and would recommend them to others. They handled themselves very professionally. They did a very good job. I was able to get an appointment time very quickly. I liked the way they were able to give me quote so I knew what I was looking at.

The salesman that sold us the grill was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and sold us exactly what we were looking for. They were a little dismayed, when they realized they would have to install the grill in the 610 loop, but agreed to do this, as per the salesperson, free of charge. A month later after my card had been charged, we still didn t have our grill installed. Apparently, one installer was injured, but it took me (4) phone calls to find this out and they seemed to have a different story, each time I called. I understand things can happen like this, but we paid a premium for this grill and after the sale, we got less than premium service.

BAD FROM BEGINNING TO END. SALESPERSON IN STORE WAS PUSHY, CONDESCENDING, GAVE ME ERRONEOUS DATE, & NAME OF WRONG PERSON FOR INSTALLATION OF LOGS & MEASURING FOR DOOR. DIFFERENT PERSON SHOWED UP ON DIFFERENT DAY & DIDN'T SEEM TO KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING. LOGS LOOKED RIDICULOUS, ALL PERFECTLY LINED UP. NOW AFTER 4 WEEKS OF WAITING FOUND OUT TODAY THAT NEW GLASS DOORS NEVER GOT ORDERED, A "MIX-UP" IN THE OFFICE. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES ALL AROUND.
