Mr. Archer and his son came out the same day I called. They needed a part for my older refrigerator yet were back the very next day to finish the job. I have used Archer Appliances for over 10 years but because they do such a good job, I don't get to see them very often. I saved a bunch of money thanks to them and they cleaned everything up before they left, the warranty in case something goes wrong is better than anything out there. Friends using other repairmen tell me how often they are told to "just buy a new one, it's cheaper" but in my experience, that just isn't true if you pick the right company. Thanks!

Mr. Archer was very knowledgeable. When I described for him what was going on he was able to order the part that was going to be needed. He and his son arrived in time got right to work and explained very clearly what they were doing and why. They even cleaned my coils at no extra charge!! Overall I was very satisfied with the work.

Mr. archer and his son Clayton was on time and very Good at taking care of my fridge. They cleaned up after themselves and my fridge is working nicely after they replaced the defrost board. I will always use archer appliance and I suggest you use them also if you want great work done. Thank you James and Clayton for such good work.

Archer Appliances did a great job on our new stove top. They disassembled the old stove top; hauled it away and assembled the new gas line. The install went smoothly with no issues. Very personable father/son team. Would hire this company again for any appliance installation.

James and his son came out with the intention of repairing the entire assembly of the roller on my Maytag dryer. There was a bit of a delay with the replacement parts, but that was not their fault. Once he came, they noticed that the drum was splitting on the edge and he told me that replacing the entire roller and belt assembly was not worth the cost due to the drum showing signs of splitting. After searching for a replacement drum, we were unsuccessful finding one (due to my dryer being about twenty years old). I went ahead and encouraged James to fix what he could to prevent my clothes from getting trapped on the roller which he did by replacing the felt seal and the Teflon padding that the drum rolled on. I appreciated James' honesty in identifying the larger issue and saving me money on unnecessary repairs. He and his son were able to fix the dryer enough to extend its life until I can find a replacement. So far I have had only one incident of clothes getting trapped in the drum gap, but not nearly as bad as before. Thank you James for coming out on a weekend to work on my clothes dryer and thank you for being honest with me. You definitely have a future customer in me.

Horrible, There was very little communication, he brought his son to help, and barely did any work. Claimed the problem was glass in the dishwasher and charged 149 just for that! I also ordered doors bins for my fridge and pre-paid for them. Since the service on October 21 not one phone call or communication was made and once a week my questions were barely answered with excuses and no answers. Now I canceled the future service and he wants a 20 percent restock on an item they dont have! Do not use their service unless you want to be taken for a ride and get nothing you paid for. Ended up paying another repair service to fix the actual issues. Good luck getting anything of value from these people

"The fact is this call could’ve been handled a lot better if the customer would’ve called me instead of calling somebody else to come out which is what The customer advised me they did before contacting me on my work. When we checked out the dishwasher we pulled glass out of the pump and the unit was functioning fine when we left. I’m not sure why another company did but I stand behind my work but was never called to come check it out first. When we order these parts we are pretty much stuck with them but I was trying to get my customer some kind of refund However when I can’t get them this is what happens. Archer ran diagnostics, then showed the cause of the problem to me. He estimated that the parts and labor to fix it would total almost as much as a new washer. He was honest, and essentially gave up potential repair revenue. He also offered to answer any questions while I was shopping for a new washer. I took him up on that. Second time I’ve used Archer - both times I was very satisfied.

I can't say enough wonderful things about James Archer with Archer Appliances. He is a very honest, customer service oriented business man that goes above and beyond for his customers. I had a cracked glass cooktop that needed to be replaced. Not only did he sell me a top-of-the-line cooktop for such a great price, he came out after regular business hours (I work full-time in the Medical Center) to install it. He's very polite, respectful, and treats his customers as if they are family. He and his son-in-law did a marvelous job! I very highly recommend James Archer and Archer Appliances.

James Archer and his personnel attempted to repair our 18 year old microwave, and when that wasn't possible, bought and installed a new one. They were very knowledgeable and efficient in everything they did and cleaned up completely. Their prices were very reasonable. We will definitely use them again.
