Annie Does What Honey Don't

We are very pleased with the work Annie’s crew did for us. Annie is very responsive, reasonably priced, and her crew did a great job. They demonstrated the 3 P’s: Punctual, Polite, and Professional.

I had received a quote from Annie before on converting my upstairs gameroom into an ensuite, but elected not to do it at the time. Annie was the one who made the suggestion to have the wall flush with the inside wall so that the outside wall retained the iron bannister floorboard as a shelf on the outside of the wall. I liked that idea, so I reached out to Annie again when I was ready to do the conversion. I wanted someone who cared enough about the work to make the suggestions I would be happy with and not just "the cheapest". This is a permanent change to my home and I want it to function and look good. Annie excelled! Her guys came in and had everything framed in, walled off, and painted and textured to match in 3 or 4 days. I made a last minute addition to the bathroom and had them add safety bars in the shower and by the sink for my elderly father. Whole job looks great and looks like an original part of the house. Thank you Annie!

Wow, where do I begin? I was quoted $375 for 76 pieces of hardware. I had forgotten about a small room and needed to add 10 more pieces. That was the job, drill the holes. I even stated that we could install the hardware. The good, they got the job done. The bad, not without drama! First the technician tried to leave mid-job stating his boss was pushing him to go to another job and that she didn't calculate the correct amount of time for the job and that she does this to him ALL the time. I finally convinced him to stay and finish the job after speaking to his supervisor who I believe is the owner of the company. Then the price jump... homeowners BEWARE!!! The job was originally quoted at $375... it jumped to $650!!!!!! The owner stated that because her technician put on the knobs and handles (which he refused to let us do) and adjusted 6 cabinets (which we didn't ask for) we received an invoice for almost DOUBLE the original price. When I confronted the owner she had a TERRIBLE attitude and basically proved that she has no problems treating her customers badly. What's really sad about it, I could have used a nice friendly handyman company to rely on and give repeat business to. Guess I will have to keep looking. The work was decent (2 knobs were not level and one handle) but just make sure you have it in your budget to pay DOUBLE whatever she quotes you.

I have only praise for this company. All the workers were professional and polite. I will use them again in the future.

It went absolutely great! Annie was very communicative throughout the entire process, and I never felt lost or confused as can happen with other contractors. After the freeze in Texas, Annie helped me to negotiate with my Insurance provider to get the amount of money that I needed for the repairs to my home. She was able to come out, prepare a quote, and have a team out to complete the work very quickly. The work itself was top tier and I will be calling on this company again once I'm ready for more work to be completed.

Ms. Annie was quick to respond to my Angie's List inquiry. Each communication was polite, inquisitive, timely and I was advised of the earliest day in which someone could come. She asked a lot of clarifying questions and requested photos to assist in providing a quote. Ms. Annie called me to gain the remaining needed insight before she provided me with a quote during the call (e.g. replace 2 gables, place wire mesh behind and repair damaged plywood). I do plan to use Annie Does What Honey Don't again! Thank you!!!

Annie's crew (two separate crews for electrical/cabinetry and sheetrock/painting) were punctual, precise, timely and very professional. The work was up to and beyond my expectations in quality. Promptly began on a Monday morning and all was completed by early Wednesday. I especially want to give a shout-out to Raul, Victor, Hector, Tony and Alexis. Thank you for your hard and excellent work.

Annie and her group are some of the best out there. The painters are phenomenal. They painted my entire upstairs, stripped wallpaper, textured and repaired walls where there was damage, repainted all of my kitchen cabinets, and painted new cabinet fronts in the master bathroom. The tile guys restored the upstairs shower tile to brand new and created a tile windowsill for my plants in the dinette area. A pocket door was repaired by the carpenter. I had been told by several other contractors that it could not be done with out tearing out part of the door jam area. He had it fixed in less than an hour. I would HIGHLY recommend Annie and her crew. The work is top notch and there is really nothing that they can't do. Absolutely the best!

The project went very good, he was prompt, professional and completed the job quickly and my tv stand was put together sturdy for my 55 inch tv.

We had a water pipe break. Annie and her crew worked with the insurance company and totally repaired all the wall, cabinet and floor damage. The crew is fantastic! They were here everyday during the week and worked to get us back in our house. Everyone said it would be 3-6 months before we could return and Annie's crew had us back in the house, living upstairs, in one month and the house totally completed in two months. They are polite and know what they are doing. I will definitely rehire them, and have, for what ever we need. Five stars is not enough for the quality of the work! 10 stars at least

This is one of many projects Annie and her crew have done for us. This time was to replace the sidewalk leading from the front door to the street and to the driveway. Annie's men were polite and worked hard. They know what they are doing and answer any and all questions we had. The sidewalk is beautiful and it took them one day, really two. the second day was to powerwash the walk and seal it.

No doubt this company has been around a long time and they know what they are doing. I had some items done at my home and the workers were very professional. The painter did not paint all the way towards the bottom of the wall. He corrected this when I pointed it out. There were holes he did not patch as well but again he was very kind and corrected it as no job is going to be perfect. My main disappointment was when payment needed to be collected. I was not aware this company only accepted cash. I mentioned this was not explained to me but the company told me they mentioned this in person. Rather it be a "he said she said" I mentioned maybe they could put this on the proposal as nothing was in writing stating, "cash only". Had that been the case, I would have given them an A rating.

The crew did a great job. They were professional and friendly. We are very happy with their work! Annie was able to schedule the job within a week of providing the bid. I appreciate being able to complete the job quickly.

Working with Annie was wonderful! She did exactly the work I asked her to do for the exact price that she quoted. Also, Annie was great about answering my questions and never made me feel like I was bothering her. Her crew came and knocked out the project in a day. The work they did was great! They were also very polite, easy to talk to, and cleaned everything up when the job was done.

Competitive price (I had another quote to compare). Annie was responsive with multiple e-mails finishing with Quote Workers arrived on time and finished completely and quickly. We will consider Annie for future jobs

Great job! Work was done in a timely manner and reasonable price. As homeowners, we were delighted that work was done right the first time. We have used Anne Does... several times now, and have always been pleased with the results. We won't call anyone else for repairs or projects in our house. The workers are true craftsmen. They are polite, professional, and obviously take pride in their work. We love our updated lighting, and our tile floor is gorgeous!

Work was great, the workers were polite and did an excellent job. Price was very fair, and when I raised a very minor issue about it, Annie resolved--I commend her for being fair about. Turns out the garbage disposal issue was very minor and easily resolved, even though they could have very easily told me it was beyond repair and charge a lot more for replacing it. Annie was very prompt in returning calls and giving a professional and itemized bid and invoice. I highly recommend her, and I would definitely use her again.
