AMERICAN LEAK DETECTION - HOUSTON

They have been to my home 3 times now and scheduled for a 4th to find a leak. They have cut huge holes in my walls and still have not found “the leak” that is flooding my home. They did find some small leaks in the process which have been taken care of, but not the one flooding my home. The workers are kind, and will communicate with you as long as you ask the questions otherwise they are diligent on their job. Sadly the men’s hygiene is offensive. It almost smells like the men have one work shirt that they wear through the week and the BO is STRONG AND MUSKY. Never smelted anything like it.

Great company to work with. Good communications, prompt, very knowledgeable staff, found leaks and charged a fair price. I’d recommend.

Very happy with setting up the appointment, scheduling and updates, technician (Matthew), and the work performed. We had been losing more water than normal in our pool and were worried about how to find cause and potential repair costs. Matthew came and performed a comprehensive test and found 2 leaks. He was very professional and took the time to answer my questions and explain everything, including when to perform repairs if we were also looking at replastering our pool. Very happy customer. Would definitely recommend.

We realized we had lots of water standing in the yard, and it was clear the leak must be from the pool. But it was hard to pin down where, and how to fix it. We contacted American Leak Detection and asked if they could help. Edgar and Daniel came out as soon as they could, on Tuesday July 24, and found the leak efficiently. Their schedule would not allow them to come back and fix it until Saturday morning; but they came then and did a beautiful job, including digging up an area to access the leak and then replacing the sod. They repaired the leak and charged less than originally quoted because the leak was easier to get to and repair than they thought at first. They also repaired some grout that was beginning to fail. Perhaps there are people who would do the job for less; but I watched them work and was impressed with the quality of their service.

They found the leak and gave an estimate to repair,,,several thousand dollars. They then said they could try something that would solve the problem without doing the pricey repair. They did,,,it worked!! No more leak!

These guys were great!! This leak was super difficult to detect, but they were persistent and they found the problem. Thank God, the correction was kind of simple so I didn't have to spend much money correcting the issue.

Leaks were found and pool was repaired.

Their technician arrived on time and was personable and friendly through the whole process. He was very knowledgeable, explained the pressurized leak detection process as he went along, and found two leaks that was causing our problem. He got us scheduled for the repair and will be back to supervise and fix our problem.

Fantastic! They are very professional. They even gave me tips on how to check for leaks in my pool, even though that's not their area of expertise. They usually don't work on pools. If I ever suspect a water leak again, this is the company that I'd hire, I'm sure of that!

Employees arrived as scheduled. Seemed like after about an hour, I received a written report with short explanation and was referred to another report that would be emailed. The remedy was not clear and there was a question as to whether plumbing on the kitchen side should be repaired or replaced and rerouted around the front of the house to the main line. Later another company was contacted. They were here approximately 3-4 hours and I was told I would receive an in-depth written evaluation with photos mailed to me. I did receive that report and it was very thorough. That company will be repairing my plumbing which entails tunneling on one side of the house and a reroute of the plumbing on the kitchen side. So far I have been very pleased with every contact with that company and look forward to the repair beginning early next week.p

They didn't try to figure out what else was wrong. They wanted to go. They didn't want to be there. They wanted to go. This company is pretty far from where I live. It was recommended by another company and it was a holiday weekend and it was a long drive. But, my husband was here and he said they just wanted to go. There was a leak, but they didn't really care what the problem was. From my husband's description, that would probably be a "C" overall. They didn't seem to charge a trip charge or anything, which was good, because we were pretty far from where they are. It turned out there wasn't a leak where they said there wasn't a leak. I guess they did that. They just didn't do anything else. They tried to get out of it, actually. They called to see if they could reschedule and I said, "no, not really". I wasn't there, but I think they showed up when they were supposed to. I wouldn't use them again. I would use somebody closer.

They did a great job in replacing the skimmer and re-laying flagstone around it.

Great! There's a flat rate of $250 for leak detection. They found the leak quickly, but did a thorough check for additional potential leaks. Very professional. Same day service. Price about what I would have paid for a plumber.

I feel like I am still have some water saturation in my cabinet. They looked under the cabinet, and he came to the conclusion that something had busted (Like an aerosol can). They also said the overflow valve is/was leaking. He told me that if I had a leak that there would be water on the floor (Which there is not). They also said the master tub/shower faucets are leaking (Which I was aware of). This would cost $550 to replace those faucets in the bathroom. I was very lucky (Since it was raining that day) that they discovered the leak in the roof, since I would have never gone up there. They were also able to help me get my garbage disposal working again, which was nice. I am going to compare the cost before I decide to hire.

The guys that came out were professional and polite. Would hire again.

David O'Neill and his team were thorough, businesslike, and careful. They methodically tested each section of pipe using hydrostatic and then isolation testing, prepared a diagram indicating the locations or sections of leaks, and offered a plan for fixing them even though they lie below the concrete slab. David and Rick Winters were also incredibly professional and responsive, working over a weekend to resolve a ridiculous permitting issue on a rush basis so there would be no barrier to reopening for business early the next week. I will definitely use their services again.

Awesome!! With in 5 minutes they determined the pool was not leaking, that rather the pump gasket needed to be replaced. They were professional and gave me excellent advice on who to call to get that done. I am very happy with their service.

After having my home inspected by a foundation specialist to see if there was any issues (new home to us, but over 50 years old!). I was told there was no apparent issue with the foundation and the house was within normal parameters to be considered level. The foundation specialist noted there was a slight "sagging" area and recommended a leak detection. I called and scheduled with American Leak Detection to see it there was an issue with my sewage pipes. Andy and Ethan called to ask if they could come an hour early for their appointment. We told them to come and they showed up right when they told us they'd be here. Andy removed his boots and came in to start the process. Both gentlemen were very polite and respectful. Seeing that I was curious about how they detected the leak, Andy explained each step to me and eventually told me there was no leak. Happy ending so far...

Fast, accurate results within an hour. Amanda was extremely responsive help keep me informed of the status of the work load delay. When she could not give me an answer on the technician making it out, she did the right thing and handed me over to Rick (owner). Rick assured and guaranteed me that he would send out a leak detection specialist the next day at the same appointed time scheduled. I am glad I waited. Angel is a leak detection professional when it comes problem solving and quickly finding the leak without equipment. (He reminding me of a bloodhound on the hunt!) I was expecting the high tech leak detection equipment to be immediately deployed. I had to see the leak location proven to me before we cut a hole in the wall. He then confirmed it to me with his infrared gun and the ultra sensitive leak listening device, the same pinpoint accuracy as he did with his own hearing. All within an hour. The leak was actually in the kitchen, which is 20 feet away from where I saw the water running out from the wall and floor in the garage. My guess to where the leak was coming from, was totally wrong. Angel (leak detection specialist) spent 20 minutes on my wild goose chase. I am glad we did not cut any holes on my assumptions. The Technician arrived at our House on Time as Promised and Physically Reviewed the existing Pool and its Equipment and associated Plumbing. After this Review, the Technician outlined the Procedure that he would initiate to Test all Pipes and Associated Pumps and Filters. His Method was very Professional and explained the Procedure in Details in Ways that we Understood the Total Procedures. Due to his Professional Testing Methods, we were finishing the Total Facility in a short Time and found the Failure of the System in the Pump. The Tester gave us a Tested Pool System that we can Trust and enjoy our Summer in our Backyard Pool.

I am a Professional Engineer and I would Highly recommend Their Services. They are on Time, Efficient and Trustworthy.

It went well. There were no leaks to be found.
