Able Handymen

Keith was very professional, honest and timely. He gave an accurate estimate for the cost and time of the work and materials needed for the work. When he was done it looked like there was never anything wrong with the areas he did repair on. I would defiantly hire him again and will refer anyone to him that needs handy work done.

Keith is a excellent handyman. He shows up on time and stays true to his word. I would use Keith again in the future.

Keith was professional, timely, courteous, and responsive. We called him rather last minute to come and hang all of our pictures/art house-wide here in the Woodlands. He did a great job. Everything was even and hung as requested. He was careful to measure, level and use the appropriate mechanism for hanging - some simple, some difficult. He didn't waste a minute chit-chatting or doing anything personal (no texting, no calls, etc) during our time. His cost was $65 per hour - and he was here for 7 hours. Perhaps there was a chance it could have moved a very tiny bit faster, BUT truth be told - he did everything meticulous and to me - that was worth the extra time. What's the old saying, "measure twice, cut once"? He didn't make numerous holes/attempts to each picture - and that says a lot. I didn't know there was a 10% discount for Angie's list members, so I am a little bummed I didn't ask for the discount and save a little. All in all - we would hire Keith again for handyman projects here anytime.

This is the 2nd time I have used Keith and he was every bit as good as the last time. He was very good on scheduling and let me know exactly when he could be here. He was prompt. Keith not only walked through all the items I wanted but pointed out other things he could help me with as well (which I was very pleased with). And he saved me money on several items by pointing out where he could actually repair rather than replace the items. I work from home and therefore need to know that someone will not make noise or disturb me during conference calls and Keith is great about this. Overall - I highly recommend Keith - he has a great work ethic, he is trustworthy and he does very professional work. I can be a bit picky want things to look perfect and that is what he does. Thank You Keith - I will definitely call again.

He did a TERRIBLE job on our ceiling medallion. He used a ton of wood glue to attach it to the ceiling. It kept moving and sliding all around smearing glue everywhere. His eneptitude left 3-inch glue stains on the ceiling all around the medallion. He also mounted the medallion off-center so the chandelier hung uneven and is very noticable. The only way to fix his mess is to cut a new whole in the medallion and ceiling. Now, I cannot move the medallion unless I tear the ceiling up and that will cost around $1,200 - or more. In addition, he cut the electrical wire too short and then "rigged" it with DUCT TAPE. I was so afraid of the rigged wiring that I hired some electricians to come replace the chandelier with another new one. Let me also tell you that Keith charged us $250.00 to install a new chandelier (replacing an existing one). A licensed ELECTRICIAN will only charge you between $65.00 - $75.00. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN to hang your chandeliers. He waaaaay over charges. Keith WAS going to charge me another $250.00 for the chandelier he ruined, but then changed his mind and charged us $100.00. He knew he messed up and did a terrible job. I can't begin to tell you how unprofessional this guy is. He charges WAY too much and is work is lousy. It's going to cost us A LOT of money to have his mess up fixed by a professional. He did offer to come back and paint the area where the glue got smudged all over, but my husband doesn't ever want him in our house again. That's how bad this guy is.

Keith was prompt in returning my initial call. I told him what I wanted and that I needed it right away, and he worked with me on the dates and times. Once we had ironed out exactly what kind of safety/grab bars would be installed and where, and whether they would be anchored into studs or molly bolts, he then went and got the grab bars from lowe's. He was very professional and did a very good job. He also cleaned up after the job and left no mess. The guide holes he needed to ensure he was hitting the center of the stud were not noticeable at all but still he repaired the guide holes as well. Very good work, very professional installation and I will definitely go to him again for any work I need in the future.

Everything went smoothly. The swing needed a few adjustment but Keith was happy to move the swing over after it was hung and help me adjust its height. My husband and I are also happy that the door leading into our bathroom will stay open so at night we don't have to walk with our arms out in front of us like a zombie when we need to go pee at night!

He was very courteous, professional and the installation is great. Keith even vacuumed the saw dust and wiped the door off with Clorox wipes.

Keith did an excellent job, finishing all seven projects in less time than I thought it would take. He even did an additional project my husband asked for on the spot.

I'm not sure he understood exactly what we wanted. He did most of the work, and the quality was average.

Keith took great care to make sure our home looked as good as if he were doing his own home. He is very meticulous in his work. We have vinyl siding and it had attracted many wasps nests through the years. He took extra care to remove any trace of the nests. We will definitely use his service again. Great guy, great moral character, and great job!

On day one an 8 hour day he put up 2 ceiling fans and one light fixture and prepped the entry way and the kitchenette area - very small area. And painted a few spots on the house On day #2 -I gave a list of 10 things I wanted accomplish like put up one mini blind prep the wall going up the steps and put up two light fixture and paint the ceiling and prep the ceiling before painting. Also to caulk in 2 bathrooms. Of the 10 items I requested he completed 3 and on those three one was poorly done. He painted the ceiling did not texture it and painted it poorly. DO NOT USE this handyman unless you pay by the job. Poor work though he wants top dollar!!!!

He was polite, on time, completed tasks when promised and very reasonable.

The work was good and completed. Satisfied with the job he did, but was disapointed on the amount of time and cost he incurred.

He was very pleasant to work with and did an excellent job on everything. I would highly recommend him because I believe can fix about anything for a good price with an eye for detail. I was very satisfied and will use him again. He is very knowledgeable about how to get your house ready for placing it on the market.

Shelves and a cabinet were great but we purchased a inexpensive gazebo and a part broke and he proceeded to tell us how cheaply it was made and wanted 400. to put it together. I used some else and he came and welded the piece and finished putting the entire thing up and charged us 75.00

Keith was great! Very professional and courteous. He showed up on time as promised and did a great job repairing the drywall and reattaching some loose siding on the house exterior. He can be trusted to do a good job at a fair price. We'll be calling him back again when we have more handyman needs!

I would definitely reccommend Able Handymen to others. Keith was right on time and worked hard all day, barely stopping to take a break. He was very polite and asked questions to make sure things were done to my wishes. The desk he assembled was complicated, containing several pieces and a 10 page instruction manual. He worked quickly and efficiently. He was even generous enough to knock $50.00 off the price. If you are looking for a good handyman, give Keith a call.

Keith was very polite and kind. The work was fantastic and the price was reasonable. Everything was done in a timely fashion and he did a great job keeping everything tidy. Will definitely use again.

Keith called as soon as I made the request. He was quite flexible in determining the best time for me for him to do the work. He showed up on time and completed the job within 3 hours. My driveway and sidewalks are pristine clean and I would recommend him and use him again.

Keith was very professional and explained each process before it was started. Keith made suggestions on some alternative repairs that would work better and save me money. I am very pleased with the work that was done and will use Keith's services again when needed.

,KEITH DID A GRATE JOB. WORK WAS DONE ON MY RENTALS. TENNANTS WERE IMPRESSED WITH HIS PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE, AND I WITH THE QUALITY OF HIS WORK. I'LL USE KEITH FOR MY FUTURE PROJECTS.

Keith called a half hour before scheduled appt. time to let us know he was on way. Arrived promptly at scheduled time and did all the installations quickly and efficiently. All went well, no issues at all. Also will be getting estimate on having some deck work done. So will be calling him again in the future.

I couldn't be happier with the work Keith did. The wood beams were perfectly replaced and it looks brand new all over again. Keith even matched the paint perfectly. I will be calling on the Able Handyman next time I have a project or problem to fix. He was on time, on schedule and on budget. Couldn't ask for more from a real professional.

He is very professional, cleaned up everything after removing the old ceiling fan.
