"Thank you for the review [Member Name Removed]. Good luck with the sale of your house. Thank you the opportunity to offer my services and I am happy you are pleased with the results."
"Thank you for the kind review. It was my pleasure to be of service to you."
Keith was professional, timely, courteous, and responsive. We called him rather last minute to come and hang all of our pictures/art house-wide here in the Woodlands. He did a great job. Everything was even and hung as requested. He was careful to measure, level and use the appropriate mechanism for hanging - some simple, some difficult. He didn't waste a minute chit-chatting or doing anything personal (no texting, no calls, etc) during our time.
His cost was $65 per hour - and he was here for 7 hours. Perhaps there was a chance it could have moved a very tiny bit faster, BUT truth be told - he did everything meticulous and to me - that was worth the extra time. What's the old saying, "measure twice, cut once"? He didn't make numerous holes/attempts to each picture - and that says a lot.
I didn't know there was a 10% discount for Angie's list members, so I am a little bummed I didn't ask for the discount and save a little.
All in all - we would hire Keith again for handyman projects here anytime.
"Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am glad you are satisfied with the results. When measuring for precise placement of pictures and art objects it does take time to get it right the first time (which results in perfect placement and balance as well as no additional holes in your walls). As you mentioned, I am not a person that wastes time. Thank you for the opportunity to be of service to you."
I work from home and therefore need to know that someone will not make noise or disturb me during conference calls and Keith is great about this.
Overall - I highly recommend Keith - he has a great work ethic, he is trustworthy and he does very professional work. I can be a bit picky want things to look perfect and that is what he does. Thank You Keith - I will definitely call again.
"I thank you for the glowing review. I am pleased to include you as one of my many satisfied repeat customers and look forward to your future projects. Have a great holiday and, again I thank you for your review."
Let me also tell you that Keith charged us $250.00 to install a new chandelier (replacing an existing one). A licensed ELECTRICIAN will only charge you between $65.00 - $75.00. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN to hang your chandeliers. He waaaaay over charges.
Keith WAS going to charge me another $250.00 for the chandelier he ruined, but then changed his mind and charged us $100.00. He knew he messed up and did a terrible job.
I can't begin to tell you how unprofessional this guy is. He charges WAY too much and is work is lousy. It's going to cost us A LOT of money to have his mess up fixed by a professional.
He did offer to come back and paint the area where the glue got smudged all over, but my husband doesn't ever want him in our house again. That's how bad this guy is.
"It is a shame and unjustified that you are so upset with a small (one inch) stain on your ceiling that I promised to correct the following day from its occurrence on July 22nd and do not understand why you would submit such an all inclusive negative review almost 2 months later. I had made every attempt to contact you since the following day (July 23rd) to confirm that I was coming to paint your ceiling and adjust the positioning of the chandelier mounting cup and have left several messages and texts but have never received a response from you. I agree with you that the liquid nails adhesive used to secure your 4 foot medallion to the ceiling had left a small stain because the medallion shifted as I hung the chandelier. It was difficult to position the 4 foot medallion (weighing about 20 pounds) with one hand and secure the chandelier with my other hand while standing on a ladder. I make no excuses and promised you and your husband the day it happened to make it right by purchasing a matching color for your ceiling and paint the ceiling the following day. As for your comment that "the chandelier hung uneven" I explained to you and your husband on July 22nd that since the liquid nails adhesive required time to dry I would loosen the chandelier mounting cup the following day and position it so that the chandelier would be centered in the medallion. Any attempt to position the chandelier perfectly when the medallion adhesive was still wet would have resulted in the medallion shifting again. The medallion was centered perfectly. The Chandelier ceiling cup was off center by 1/4 of an inch. You do not need to spend $1200 to replace your ceiling to correct a small stain caused by the adhesive. As for the charge for services, I quoted you an hourly rate due to the hundreds of individual crystals that I needed to place on a chandelier that needed to be assembled. Due to the fact that you wanted the medallion installed resulted in the threaded rod being 4 inches short. I needed to go to the store to purchase the correct diameter and the correct length to compensate for the additional 4 inches needed due to the thickness of the medallion. An electrician may charge $65-$75 to hang a light but they would not assemble the chandelier and add the hundreds of crystals and mount the medallion for that price. As for me "wanting you to get your husband's tool box" that is not the case. Your husband's tools were in the room and you indicated that if I wanted to use them they were available. I did not use your husband's tools. I regret that the adhesive left a one inch area that stained your ceiling. As mentioned previously I had made every attempt to contact you to correct this issue but you have never returned my requests for you to contact me with a time or date for me to paint the ceiling. Should you wish for me to paint the stained area as we originally agreed to please contact me at your earliest convenience."
Very good work, very professional installation and I will definitely go to him again for any work I need in the future.
"Thank you for the positive review. I secured each and every grab bar to withstand any test of strength. I would not have done it any other way. You cared enough to provide safety for someone you cared a great deal for and I took the steps necessary to ensure your peace of mind. Thank you again for the kind review. I look forward to any projects you may have in the future."
"Thank you for the kind review. You are a great person and was only too pleased to provide you with quality results. Please contact me for any future projects and I will be happy to accommodate youo. Thank you again for taking the time to write a review. Keith, Able Handymen"
"Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Providing professional results to me also means leaving the work area as clean as when I arrived. I am happy you are pleased with the results and hope you contact me in the future for any future projects."
"Thank you for taking the time to write a testimonial. I enjoyed assisting you with the several projects on your list. Please contact me with any future projects that you need assistance with."
"Thank you for taking the time to write a testimonial. You asked me to finish floating a closet wall and finish texturing a repaired wall. I explained that when a textured wall is repaired that there is a distinct possibility that the end results would not be invisible. According to you, the previous contractor had injured himself and I was hired by you to repair and finish his unfinished work. I had taken the time to "feather" the edges of his drywall repair so the results would not be as distinctly visible. I had then applied a complimentary texture to that wall. The closet had no texture but was quite uneven. Again, I had done all I could to minimize the visual imperfections. When you say that "I don't think he understood what we wanted" I had clarified what you wanted and provided the best work given the situation and charged you a very fair price. I wish you well."
"I am pleased you appreciated the extra effort and my attention to details. It certainly makes a difference and I am happy to make your beautiful house look as good as it should. You are both wonderful people and it was a privilege to have met you. Thank you for your kind testimonial and I look forward to your next project."
"Thank you for the testimonial. I must disagree with your comments that I worked slowly. I did not stop working from the moment I arrived and worked efficiently throughout the job. Firstly, I did not charge you $50 an hour. I provided you a 10% discount. Secondly, most of the tasks required extensive preparation to compensate for preexisting conditions unforeseen at initial inspection. The preparation to both sides of your entryway that showed a small area of the drywall that was bubbling off resulted in my having to repair the entire area due to improper installation. I removed, floated and primed the areas which required additional time that you were not aware of. The entry way was painted with latex paint over oil based paint. This again took additional time to provide a suitable bond as I explained to you. In installing the fixtures I had to spend additional time due to the fact that the light fixture that you chose could not be attached to the junction box being recessed by an inch instead of flush mounted and the screws provided with the fixture were too short. This modification to the installation took an additional 30 minutes to install. You are incorrect as to the number of fixtures installed, each having an unforeseen issues in the prior installation that had to be corrected first. As for your comment for talking on the phone, I had received one phone call from a customer and indicated that I would return the call at a later time which I did on my own time after hours. I did receive a few calls from my wife who is quite ill. I wear a bluetooth device and continued to work while I attempted to comfort my wife during the 3 minute conversations with her. You have a very nice house but the amount of work that was needed to be done far exceeded your to do list for a two day job. Much of what I did had gone unnoticed (such as caulking doorways and baseboards that had gaps where it met the wall but assure you the results were necessary and professional in quality. The ceiling that was painted required a second coat of paint and needed to dry before it could be applied. The area requiring a sand texture measured 6 inches by 12 inches. I had discounted my charges to you by $100 because the work was not completed which was more than fair. Caulking your bathrooms was not a matter of simply caulking over the existing caulk. The old caulk had to be removed, cleaned and prepped prior to the silicone caulk being applied. You had purchased a clear silicone caulk which would have showed all imperfections. I used a quality white silicone caulk instead that I did not charge you for. You asked me to prepare a room that had been previously painted. The room had been painted over wallpaper with the seams visible and other walls where the wallpaper had been removed leaving extensive damage to the drywall. Accomplishing this type of task takes time which was done as efficiently as possible. I had made every effort to accomplish the items on your list and explained to you that you would need to prioritize the list due to time restraints. I wish you the best in selling your house. I assure you that you got more than your moneys worth for the professional work that was accomplished during the time allotted."
"Thank you for your testimonial. You are a kind person. I am pleased your are satisfied with the results. Please contact me for all your future projects."
"Thank you for the testimonial. I had made every effort to be efficient with time and followed your direction to focus on the necessary preparation and achieve superior results to the screened porch and open wrap around porch areas. When oil based priming and caulking is required (as it was with all of the screened porch columns) it does take time to accomplish the level of quality results you expected and will appreciate for many, many years. I am pleased you are satisfied with the work and wish you and your wife well. You have a beautiful home and I am pleased to have met you. I am sure you will enjoy the fresh look of your porches and know that they will be protected for a very long time."
"Thank you for the positive testimonial. You have a beautiful house and I am pleased to have enhanced the first impression that your house has now that the front door has been refinished, the rear door painted and the caulking in the shower shows a clean look ( in addition to all the work you both have done). I am confident you will sell your house quickly and wish you the best."
"I appreciate the testimonial. As a clarification, I made you aware of the online reviews for the particular gazebo you had purchased a few days prior to installation. A majority of the online reviews indicated that the gazebo was quite flimsy and the frame was quite substandard and was not recommended. I felt that you should be made aware of the reviews prior to installation and you indicated to proceed with the construction. I was quite careful in the assembly (heeding the negative reviews) but the frame weld did not hold. I informed you of the free (frequent) replacement process that that the reviews had indicated. I am happy that you were able to have the gazebo installed and wish you the best."
"Thank you for the positive testimonial. You are wonderful people and I look forward to your future projects. Have a great New Year."

"I am pleased that you are satisfied with the results of the beam replacements. I have to admit that it was a challange to perform this repair with the precise results required. This is where my experience really came in handy. I am quite certain that no one would have done this service for a better price and provided you with the quality of service you would expect. I look forward to providing you with equally impressive results in the future. Thank you for the testimonial."
"Thank you for the kind testimonial. I appreciate the fact that you have contacted me several times for various things on your "to do" list like pressure washing your house and driveway, light fixture removal and other handyman repairs. You are a kind person and enjoy providing you with quality results. I regret that I had been late the day I installed your ceiling fan. As I mentioned to you I had a root canal that day and the dentist took an hour longer than anticipated for the procedure. I assure you I would rather have been installing your fan. I will see you in the future for other projects you have. Thank you again for the testimonial."
