Stewart Electric's electrician came out in less than 24-hours of our call to help us get our garage door operational and replaced a required electrical socket that was safer while he was at it. A loose wire in an electrical socket that we weren't aware of was the culprit--it was worn and sparking--overheating against something that was causing it to cause an intermittent outage to our garage door. Very glad the problem was found quickly and that the electrician also noticed on the same circuit that we needed an updated socket that would be safer. Our house is very old so it was good we had Stewart Electric come out. They are very conscientious about diagnosing problems and giving us peace of mind. The electrician is always professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. He explains everything in layman's terms and is very patient and methodical.

It is good to have such competent and conscientious service when it comes to electricity for peace of mind. Countless hours were saved having Stewart Electric replace many electric fixtures in our old house and they were done right. Much needed fans for a hot climate were replaced and bathroom exhaust fans to control humidity were replaced. Significant time was spent on each unit in order to rewire and shore up an older home's 20th century system to improve energy efficiency. Work was done methodically and correct by a seasoned journey man and an apprentice with the owner of the aspiring company who is vastly experienced himself. It is inspiring to see such young intelligent and ambitious professionals who enjoy their work and are diligent. The owner personally planned out the work for an estimate that was true to the invoice and work began just a few days later. The men were punctual and as they progressed, they checked out the progress, step-by-step, to ensure we were satisfied with the fixtures and how they functioned. We made minor alteration requests and they obliged. They answered many questions clearly and taught us a lot about how things worked. They provided solutions to age-old problems and assured us that the results were up to standards without overselling us a bunch of stuff we did not need at this time.While the bill was serious, it was fair and a real bargain; overall, two and a half days work was provided by a team of two and nothing was rushed. We were pleased and impressed with the results. We had purchased our own ceiling and exhaust fans and lights with their guidance which helped us save and accomplish the styles and colors we wanted. Stewart Electric is an impressive small business with a personal touch. I would recommend it to someone I care about because having trustworthy people like them come into one's home like that is a big deal.

we have had Stewart Electric out to our home several times prior to our spring 2011 call, and Justin Stewart has done all the work here. He is prompt, professional, and thorough. We have been extremely pleased.

I had two plugs and three lights that stopped working. Stewart Electric had been recommended to me by a friend who had used them and thought they had done a good job. I called them to make an appointment. While explaining the problem to Justin Stewart, the owner, he suggested a couple of things I could try to see if it was just a braker switch, etc. I had already tried that, but I appreciated that he tried to save me the expense of having an electrician come if it was just a simple problem. He and his apprentice called me as they were on their way, arrived on time and got to work. They quickly diagnosed my problem, explained it to me and fixed it. While they were there, I thought of two other items which were bothering me. They fixed those also with no problem. One item was an outside light which required specialty bulbs and was difficult for me to change. Justin talked to me about other options (less expensive ones) for an outdoor light. He went to Home Depot, purchased an outdoor light to my specifications for me, and replaced the old one. They even took time to be sure the light was pointing in the best direction for me to light my side entry door. I was very pleased with the polite and professional way Stewart Electric worked at my home.

Justin Stewart is a terrific electrician - I would recommend him to anyone! He has been to our house on two separate occasions to help us with electrical problems. The most recent time was to replace the electrical outlet under our dishwasher. This was a big job that required disconnecting the water line and pulling the dishwasher out from the cabinetry. He is so conscientious and wanted to let me know exactly what was happening and why. He is courteous and very concerned that my husband and I were happy with his work. When our dishwasher quit working again the next day, Justin came over after hours to check it out. The electrical outlet was FINE - the dishwasher needed repairing this time, but he still came over on his own time to make certain the new problem did not occur because of his work. IT DID NOT! So, not only did he come back to make certain things were ok - electrically - but he didn't charge us for checking back on his work! Unbelievable! I have never had this kind of service before. Justin Stewart (Stewart Electric) is incredible.
