 + -1 moreI've had lots of work done on my house. Paul was the most professional of the contractors I have had; I had a couple before I hired him and one forced upon me by my insurance company to repair water damage after I had employed Paul. His remodeling was the best. I can highly recommend him, particularly for carpentry. He is more expensive than other contractors with whom I have spoken, but I believe one gets what one pays for. No one else could have designed and fixed my ceiling as he did. No one would even have thought of doing what he did. He worked hard to find me the hardware and pulls for the cabinets as well as searched and found the light fixtures I had in mind.
Description of Work: Built coffered ceiling in kitchen. It looks fantastic and I have received many compliments on it. Sanded and painted kitchen, utility room, and bathroom cabinets which are beautiful. Removed popcorn from ceilings. Rerouted HVAC duct; repaired electrical wiring. Replaced kitchen windows.

 + 0 morePaul is intimately familiar with how homes are constructed, and he does very good carpentry work. He recognizesd problems in construction and took the initiative to resolve them and to explain the problems to me.
Description of Work: He is an excellent carpenter, and he initially did a wonderful job. (He also was very good with my pets; my dog adores him.) His repair on my kitchen ceiling was first rate, and he did all the carpentry work himself. He found some significant problems with the electrical wiring and in the HVAC duct work and located very competent people make the necessary repairs at a reasonable price. He watched everything that these people did to ensure the jobs were done properly.
