Granade Roofing

The owner of the company Joseph David Granade cashed my check of over $8,000.00 that was a 50% deposit for roof replacement and gutters. He never scheduled my roof to be done and after a fair amount of time waiting on him, I cancelled the agreement. At this point he has yet to produce a refund even after my lawyer sent him a letter of demand. This has now become a civil matter and we are now suing him for the return of our funds in full. He has never made one attempt to contact us or return any money back. This man and his family run business cannot be trusted. By the way, the address they have listed here is a vacant lot. I know this because the sheriff's office told me they went by there to look for him. The address on the demand letter is the true address. Who knows for how much longer. Regarding my first post, please understand that no services were ever performed. I answered yes to the question, was money paid? Also, the question approximate date of last contact was 2/27/2019 was the last time I left another cell phone message asking for my refund. It was not the date of service. Angie's list needs to not be combining these questions and answers. Today is 3/29/2019, the date I'm posting this review/ warning to others. Complaint has been filed with the Comal County JOP precinct 1.

Granade cashed check for 1/2 total payment: Jan 31 Quoted job length: 1-1.5 week(s) Start date: March 1 End date: April 4 Has not returned to address roof inspectors report of undone and damaged seams. Did not replace panels/rain barrier on leaky skylight; only temporary fix with calk. Did not replace the sheetrock saturated by rain twice around the skylight.
