I called Countyline Plumbing (Ron Garza) during construction of my home. The builder's plumber wanted an arm and a leg to run a gas line from the street to the home, so I started looking for plumbers who do gas line work and had a HARD time finding anyone who would do the work. I found Ron on Angie's List and he was out to see the property within 24 hours of my call! He did not hesitate to the difficult gas line work, and his prices were a lot more reasonable than my builder's subcontractor. Ron is very responsive, very professional, and runs a great business. I'm going to hire him to do drainage work on my new home too and highly recommend him for plumbing/gas/drainage services.

So, my water heater began leaking on 22nd of October and needed to be replaced quickly.  That day, I lined up 3 plumbers to come out and give me an estimate for the required repairs.  I met Mr. Garza by chance later that afternoon while he was installing one of my neighbor's water heater. This was approximately around 6p.m. while he was mounting my neighbor's old water heater onto his van to haul away.  I asked if he could take a quick look at my water heater set up and give me an estimate for repairs. He initially stated 500 for labor (keeping the parts that were already there and replacing the water heater tank only) which I thought was reasonable but told him that I had already set up appointments with other plumbing services the following day. He gave me his card and told me to call him if at my convenience.
The following day (23rd October) the 3 plumbing services I contacted viewed the required work and, although all were very professional,  the estimates they provided were a bit too high for my taste. Estimates ranged from $1800 -2500 dollars (crazy, I know) and none would allow me to purchase a water heater myself. With the estimates out of the way, I called Mr. Ron Garza and told him the job was his. He stated he could be over on the following morning to install the water heater. I told him that I would like to upgrade the old parts and that everything needed to be up to code.  He gave me an estimate for the replacement parts which in total came out to 850 dollars including labor. That same night I purchased a Rheem water heater from Home Depot for about 500 bucks and then Ron showed up the next  morning to install the heater.  It was raining pretty bad that morning but Mr. Garza and his assistant, replaced the old with the new and most importantly upgraded the lines and valves to code.
The water heater is working really well (no issues noticed yet)  and the new water heater setup looks really nice. Furthermore, even though we spent approx $1300 dollars total for parts and labor, Countyline definitely was way more affordable than the competition. Mr Garza is very professional, no nonsense gentleman that doesn't beat around the bush when it comes to plumbing repairs. He tells you what you really need and does not try push on items that are not required.

Would definitely use this plumber again. Service was provided the same day I called. For the time and service provided the cost was very fair.

Very good. My water heater stopped working and when I tried to reset it, flames and sparks shot out of the lower electrical panel. I did not have a manual to help with repairs, so I checked Angie's list for a reputable plumber. I contacted Ron Garza, the company owner, around 2:00 PM. I wanted to find someone who could come in the next 3 days, Ron showed up in about 3 hours, despite being about an hour away when I called. He had the heater up and running again about five hours after I had called him. He gave me some tips on maintaining my system and fixed some problems left behind by the original installer. He was very friendly, explained everything he was doing and cleaned up after he was done. Overall I was very happy with the service. He does all sorts of plumbing work, including sprinkler systems. Although my exposure to this company was brief, he came across as a small company, he places a good deal of emphasis on work ethic and getting the job done quickly and efficiently.

Ron's a class act! He relocated a gas line to an outdoor kitchen for us; the work was absolutely top-notch (neat, clean, perfect function-especially contrasted with the previous contractor's work). During the gas line installation, we discovered that our existing water heater was leaking (I sure didn't know that they were as "perishable" as they are); we set up a replacement installation with Ron. Instead of selling us an over-sized heater as a direct replacement, he analyzed our hot water needs, and sold us a smaller unit. I watched the entire installation process, and Ron's pride in his work was evident. He installed higher-reliability connectors where appropriate, and did not re-use parts simply to cut corners. He definitely considered our needs, and didn't "gold-plate" the materials just to make an extra buck. His work prep and cleanup were also outstanding.

He was very quick and efficient and did a great job. Did not damage any of the existing tile. I am very satisfied.
