Description of Work: The drain line for A/C was clogged and they fixed that, corrected a problem with the drain line, installed a second drain line, changed my filter, and checked the freon level in the unit. I was very pleased with the service. They worked me in so that my A/C would be fixed the same day and did a very good job. I will definitely continue to use them.

They checked the wiring of the blower unit, and located some loose connections, cleaned out the drain tube and got the blower working again. Very professional and friendly. Great service - will definitely use them again when the need arises!

That morning first I called another repair service (I had used before-took them 2-1/2 hours to arrive) told me I needed both new inside/outside AC unit quoted me 4200 dollars. Afterwards I called Bulverde Heating and Air for a second opinion They arrived within 30 minutes. Told me I only needed a new outside unit and would be there at 10 a.m. Monday to install it. They were here as promised and I cannot say enough good things about their courtesy and professionalism. I will absolutely call them for any of my future heating or cooling needs.

+ -1 moreHe came when he said he would; he gave me an estimate ahead of time and stuck to the price. He cleaned up before and after doing the work. He was wonderful; not only did he do a great job but he spent time explaining to us what was going on and why we were getting such a high electrical bill. He did not sell us the new systems; he was willing to try and repair the old system and we decided on our own that we wanted new systems instead of repairing the old ones. No high pressure sales with him!
Description of Work: Craig did two days worth of work; replacing two air conditioners,replacing some ducts in the attic and two vents in the ceiling. He also had to work on the air return on the furnace and repair it. And he installed two new thermostats.

Without his knowing what the first company recommended or estimated our costs to be, Craig gave us a quote for $2,000 less. He was professional and customer satisfaction is a high priority for him. He took the time to answer all my questions and even answered questions of some visitors. Craig was prompt, efficient and very responsive whenever I've called.

+ -1 moreBulverde Heating and Air Conditioning gave an honest assessment and a fair price. They arrived on time, were neat and considerate. Very professional. I really appreciate that Craig, the owner, did not try to up-sell. He looked at the existing system and listened when I explained how that side of the house is used, and finished out the original design. The work was completed on time and at the price quoted. No surprises. The system operates perfectly now for 6 months. My new sewing room is beautiful and comfortable. It's nice to have a skilled Heating and AC company I can trust.
Description of Work: We finished out a so called bonus room in our 8 year old home and needed to heat and AC it. We got bids from two big name companies and two independents. The heat pump system on that end of the house had been set up for three zones, considering the future room, but no ducting or dampers had been included. The bids from the two big name companies said we required bigger heat pump systems and were each over 10 thousand dollars. One independent company bid a new ductless system for five thousand. Bulverde Heating & Air Conditioning recommended using the existing system as designed. What a concept. He ran the new ducts and set up the new zone with a separate thermostat. Just what we needed and it works great.

+ -1 moreAlthough Bulverde was not the absolute low bidder, their proposal was competitive, complete and their were no surprises during the installation and start-up period. Their work was timely and always done professionally. They were very good about cleanup after their work. Craig Burge, the owner is the principal installer and is very knowledgeable and easy to work with.
Description of Work: Bulverde provided and installed complete 2 conventional Trane Hi efficiency HVAC units, 1 Trane Heat Pump, and 1 Mitsubishi mini-split in our new custom home construction.
