We have used him for years and years. He has gone out of his way to do things for us. He has reasonable prices. He is very professional. He argued with our homeowners insurance for us when our heater went out. When our AC went out as we were leaving for vacation we left him our key and he installed it while we were gone. He will go out of his way to keep you out of trouble. He will tell you the most economical way to get the performance you want.

The actual work performed was OK; however, I decided to call another company for second opinion concerning our evaporator coil. They checked it and told us that we did not not need one. The second company was REDSTAR, and they turned out to be honest and correct. Did not even charge me! Here is problem I have with Dave Fields company: they are either incompetent or dishonest in seeking to replace an evaporator coil they needs no replacing. This is 14 months later, and the coil is fine. Next time I will call REDSTAR for service.

I do appoligize for any mistakes made by me or my staff.I do run an honest company and if given the chance, I work very hard to maintain customer satisfaction and trust, I would have revisited this residentce to recheck this ciol and the rest of the system to determine where the freon had gone in the first place. I am sorry that you had this problem."

He was very pro active in communicating with us. We were still in Milwaukee before the move while the work was being done. He did a good job informing us about inspections and re inspections. He gave good recommendations about repairs as well as many different options. He was professional in his work and he cleaned up after himself. I felt comfortable enough to give him a key to our home and I would highly recommend him.
