Project was a great success. Talented and hardworking team of craftsmen - detailed oriented and took pride in their work. Honest and dependable company. Excellent communicators - project manager checking regularly with me on the project's progress and any concerns I might have. Very pleased with project and would recommend to others. I was disappointed to find at the end of the service that my home was to far away for this company to provide any additional service. It took 2 follow-up calls to find this out and waiting for a return call to find this out. Sad because I liked the 2 professionals who came out. A little courtesy goes long way. I had to call them to setup the original service date and they hemmed and haughed then too - said they told Angie's list there was a limit to how far they would go and this was too far. I gave them the option to give me my money back - but they wouldn't do that. Sorry but I was disappointed with the professionalism of the office staff, owner and project manager who finally called me back.

He was true to his word and showed up with Cliff, one of his employees, and check out the damage and had it all fixed in just a couple hours. I've used many different contractors for different things over the years and Tim Riley has been the only one that has been true to his word every time. He's done everything from fixing a commode to replacing our roof and has always kept communicating with us from start of job to end of job and calling back later to make sure that everything was still working as it should. I've also given his name to friends and neighbors and they they have used him as well. I would highly recommend Riley-Sons Inc. to anyone that needs quality work at fair prices and excellent customer service before, during and after the job is done. He also told me that he is building homes now so if your looking for a reputable builder give him a chance to earn your business.

They showed up on time & did extra work at no charge as they replaced needed shingles - they noticed a bit of soft decking around our chimney when they were replacing the flashing and replaced a part of the decking while they were there. They could not find a match for the ridge vent shingles, so replaced all of the shingles instead of a few... Completely cleaned up when they left. They were able to match the roof shingles pretty well - almost an invisible patch...

We tried to fix a roof leak for over a year, ourselves and with another contractor, and were not successful. We got estimates from several roofers, some of which included expensive roof replacements. Then Tim at Riley and Sons brought a knowledgeable colleague to our home who was able to locate the leak very quickly and fix it with a simple flashing repair. There have been hard rains since then and we no longer have a leak. Riley and Sons is a very competent and ethical firm that we will recommend to friends.

Never got the estimate we rescheduled once and then he didn't show - said his wife was out of town and he had to watch kids Then rescheduled for Tuesday he didn't show rescheduled for thurs didn't shiw

I was delightedwith the results of the work done. It was done on time on budget with a great attitude. The quality of the materials used was better than I expected and I am extremely happy with the outcome of the work. Best of all he had a great attitude and was a delight to have around our home and family.

We needed a new roof because of hail damage. We called Tim. He arrived the next day and assessed the damage. He offered to be there when the adjuster showed up, which he did. Because of Tim, we made sure we got everything covered with the equivalent quality of roofing. Not only did Tim do the job but he added additional vents and replaced a lot of rotten trim. In the process, he discovered a rotten support beam on our porch. It was a little tricky, but that was replaced also. Because of the excellent work, we hired Tim to design and replace 3 pergolas using redwood. Beautiful, excellent job. We highly recommend Tim Riley and Sons.

Most area roofers are working on roofs in San Antonio and DFW now. I had a referral roofer from Lon Smith company who estimated $250.and never returned 3 phone calls to confirm that he would be here at the specific time needed. Timothy's name was given to us by a good friend retired construction guy. Timothy had done a great job on replacing his (and many neighbors) roof. This was a unique situation and Timothy worked hard to make the repair correctly.

He is a delightful man, very professional and knowledgeable with great experience in many trades. When I need to have my roof replaced (which he brought down evidence of damage) we will assuredly use him. We are also considering having him look at a project of taking in our attic for additional living space and he was conversant in those details.

We give him highest marks and it was a pleasure having him in and on our home.

We have used Riley & Sons on numerous occasions for small repairs and after hail damage to our roof. Tim was courteous and professional in all aspects of the repairs and our new roof. He also was a great advocate in getting our insurance company to cover repairs to our roof that were not noted by the insurance company appraiser. All work was done on schedule and  always cleaned up properly. I've used other contractors for roofs and repairs in other homes we have owned but none gave us the quality of service before, during and after the job was finished. I have recommended this company to my family and friends who have all thanked me for the referral. Tim also has called me to make sure that everything is still working properly. Went very well. There were some weather issues but once the storms stopped, Tim and his crew got to work. It took them 2 days to build the deck. They did a great job and everything is perfect and straight. Now rain doesn't splash mud all over my back door

Riley and Sons was great about giving me a time frame they'd be out to build the fence and was actually earlier than that time frame. Despite the rainy weather they were able to get my fence done in just four days. Not only did they get it done quickly, but they got it done well. Unlike the previous contractor fence, Tim made sure my fence had three cross supporting 2" x 4"s. We love going in our backyard knowing we won't have to deal with the neighbors dogs barking or tearing at the fence.
