Daniel was very courteous, on-time and fast in taking measurements. He also talked us through the different options and never tried to up-sell or force a product. Reasonable prices and great service

It was a great experience. It's a mom and pop operation, not a big corporation. The owner came to our house with samples of blinds with various features and fabrics. I'm not big on decorating talent, so she helped me select colors. She measured the windows and provided an price quote before she left. Her price was lower than 2 other companies we got identical estimates from.
The custom blinds were ready within a week. Her husband did the installation. They normally have a helper but he was sick, so she came to help install too. The color really suits my house well and they're well-installed. They're exactly what I needed. She provided an extended reach pole (I'm short, my windows are tall) that cost $80 from another company.
When our cleaning service messed up the motorized blind in one room so it couldn't close, they came out for free to adjust it.
I'd have them back in a second, except I replaced all my blinds at once...
A minor drawback to their service is that you see only samples because they don't have a showroom. The sample windows demonstrate the features but the scale is small. I kind of like to see things full sized before I buy them. Other people might have more imagination. I had seen the blinds in a showroom for another vendor, so I knew I liked the brand and model. I went with HCB because I liked dealing with the owner and knowing that I'm helping a small local business. Also, their price was best and she called back promptly when I had questions.

Velma was very patient as I had her come out to consult about three different times while we changed our minds and narrowed down which type of window treatments we wanted. We finally decided on the wooden plantation shutters. Her prices were competitive and we knew she had done some other homes in our neighborhood. I had quotes from two or three other companies too. The measuring appointment was easy to set up and the shutters were manufactured within the time specified and were installed nicely by the installers. Everything went smoothly.
