He was willing to work with us to settle on a price we were comfortable with and thoughtfully decided to bring his smaller heavy equipment to accommodate the dimensions of our property.
Eric's fairness and punctuality are only half the reason we decided to hire him; I truly respect his educational background and experience in his trade even though he is still quite young. One last comment to prospective clients is that other contractors may have flashier/better pictures on their websites but, even I was able to recognize that Eric Johnson is a truly skilled and honest craftsman who is personally invested in each job.
Also, his address is now in Olathe, phone#913-220-0344.
Sincerely,
Mark Gibbs
"Thanks for the great review {Members' names removed}! It was a pleasure working with you and we hope you enjoy your patio!"
"Every attempt has been made to contact this customer to address any issues. If this customer would please call or email me back I would be happy to take care of any of your concerns. The Cure & Seal was put down as soon as the brooming was complete as directed by the manufacturer. The "spidering" your are seeing is in the sealer membrane not the concrete which is normal. I do feel like the one step vs. two is a better option but [Member Name Removed] replace it with 2 steps if you are not happy with it. I was not aware of these concerns until seeing this so please contact me so we can address them. Thank you, Eric Johnson"
Their team finished within two days. My original front porch had a large section of concrete that had chunked off over time and the whole thing had sunk a few inches down from the front door, but the new porch looks nice and it's about a foot wider than it used to be, which is great. The driveway looks great as well. The team had to fix an area of concrete after a neighborhood dog decided to dash across the wet concrete, but from what I hear they handled it very well. It can be a bit of a messy job, but they cleaned up after completion. All in all, it was a good experience and i'd use them for future projects.
