Zenil Painting

Great. 2nd time I used them. Lorenzo's team really came in and saved the day. He knew what to do to fix the disaster my general contractors painters created. His team did in one week what the other painters were not close to finishing in three. The quality was outstanding and the fixed anything I did not like in a professional and friendly manner.

Lorenzo Zenil was recommended to us by a neighbor and our realtor. He had done a small job for our neighbor and our realtor has a list of painters that she refers. We hired him to paint the entire interior of our home including the majority of the kitchen cabinets. Lorenzo assured me that everything would be "perfect." His team was here for over a week. We were extremely nice to his team, providing water and Gatorade, several meals, and a welcoming environment. They paid us back by not finishing the job. Per Lorenzo's request, we paid for almost the entire job with his word that his team would come back and fix any remaining paint issues. He did not check on his teams progress or quality throughout the process, except to stop by and ask for payments. We would walk Lorenzo through the list of poor quality paint issues and then he would talk to his crew. But he didn't follow up on whether they actually fixed the list of issues. We continued to call him and ask him to come back and go through the list with his crew. He stopped returning our phone calls and texts. My husband and I are having to repaint the kitchen cabinets and all the doors ourselves. I have called several other painters to come and look at the job Lorenzo's team did and they can't believe it. No painter wants to come in and have to fix what Lorenzo's team did so the estimates we have received to fix the problems are high. We thought that by paying the high price tag for this job that it would be done, hassle free. We have small children and based our decision on these two referrals. Going forward, I will only use companies on Angie's List that have been recommended by many more people. This was a very frustrating and disappointing introduction to the type of contractors you can hire in Texas. DO NOT HIRE Lorenzo or his workers. I have since been told of several really good painters that do not charge as much and actually do a good job (and, of course, they are on Angie's List).

They have done pretty much my whole house inside and then they did the outside. The workers are good. They clean up nicely. They are very polite. The price is always I think more than fair and they have always done a good job. I would rate them highly and would absolutely use them again in the future.
