Insurance claims - fire & water damage We specialize in antique furniture restorations but also work with any wood related projects. Our services include refinishing both stains and custom finishes such as antique distress and gold leafing. We also reupholster sofas chairs pillows and basic head boards. All kinds of furniture repair and canning.

I've used this business for 5 years and the prices have increased astronomically. My first piece was an antique buffet that required a leg repaired and the entire piece stripped and stained: cost $350 in 2009. In 2010 they repaired and stained a dresser for $350. Another dresser followed at $450. Then last year I had a small dressing table done for $850! I also had 2 stools done but I'm not sure what I paid. The last piece was the front door to a secretary that needed replacement veneer for the front only (26and quot;x13and quot;) that cost over $300. (can't find receipt) Not only do I believe the cost out of range, but the piece was at the vendor from January to March. I called several times and was told the weather was the delay, but I'm not sure that was the case. Westwood does excellent work, but I feel that as a long time customer I was pushed to the side because my piece was of little value to them. I have many more antiques to refinish but will search elsewhere in the future.
