0 friends 2 reviews 5/30/2016 1.0 star rating We are unable to even rate this company. We contacted Chuck with Squeaky Clean Windows to clean our outside windows. First, we CONFIRMED with Chuck that he had insurance and or was bonded. He said if his employees ever caused any damages, he would always make sure he would repair any damages his company would cause. Chuck also said, "We do the inside of the windows and we also do chandeliers." "We have been doing this for years." We were excited for the company to do both. Being insured and or bonded is obviously not true or he would have covered us for all the damages his employee cost us. Or, he just does not care about damaging someone else's property and feels its okay to ignore what he did. Using this company cost us: $5,475.49!!!!!!!!!!! in damages. Using this company was a BIG MISTAKE. A BIG BIG BIG BIG MISTAKE!! His employee was cleaning one of our large chandeliers in our family room. She was TURNIG the chandelier and PULLING on the chandelier while on a ladder. The ladder was placed to the side of the chandelier due to a coffee table under the chandelier. So, she was having to lean over while on a ladder. I ASKED THE LADY TO NOT PULL on the chandelier. Also, I asked if she needed me to move the coffee table so she didn't pull on the chandelier. I asked the employee 2x. She was insistent she was fine. Chuck had assured me they have been doing this for years in our original meeting. Well, she pulled the chandelier down and it came down crashing on our new coffee table with starphire glass. It damaged the chandelier, the shades on the chandelier, the coffee table was dented, it chipped off hunks of wood off the table as well as the paint/lacquer. We were out for the following damages: $702.00 - Chandelier repair $2,952.00 - Replacement of all 18 chandelier silk shades. Chuck said he should not have to pay for all the shades to be replaced. We offered to pay 1/2 and he still refused. We had to replace all of them due to the following: 1. The shades change color after 3 years (the amount of time we had the shades) due to light on them changes the shade color. 2. The shades can be a different shade due to it is 3 years later. Therefore, we had to replace all of them to match. $525.00 - Coffee Table repaired $541.49 - Glass (starphire) replaced $755.00 - for companies to pick up coffee table and chandelier, and to deliver the glass and bring back the chandelier and the coffee table. TOTAL DAMAGES: $5,475.49!! To make sure there were not any other reasons for this accident, I called a reputable electrician with Fox Electric that installed all of our chandeliers. He said, well you could check with the company that made the chandelier and make sure they have all the proper components. I reminded him that he installed it through our builder and he (electrician) checks that. But, I called the company where we purchased the chandelier anyway, a high end company (Nancy Corzine) and they confirmed that they absolutely do everything by law and UIL standards and that all is appropriate. But, Chuck wanted to harp that the electrician said it could have been an issue. Which it is very clear it is NOT. Even after I called and told him what the company said he would not listen. I also gave him the number to the company and told him to call to confirm and he refused. When I told the electrician that the employee from Squeaky clean was turning the chandelier and pulling on it he said the turning ALONE could cause it to fall and also you should never turn it of pull on it. Both could be cause for pulling it out of the ceiling. Also, as the Squeaky Clean employee was washing the inside of the windows she was leaving water on the hardwood floor after squeegee the window. I gave her a towel and had to ask her to wipe up the water as she went thru the house. IMPORTANT NOTE: After the accident, I called Chuck and he came to the house to see what the damages were. He said, "I will pay for whatever damages. Please get the cost and I will make good on it." We kept him informed thru the entire process. After that he would NOT return our numerous phone calls. He finally called and said he was not paying for anything. He said he was already out some money because his employee cut her hand and had to have stitches. First off, he was insured and bonded and promised to pay for any damages. He caused a lot of damages and is not willing to pay anything. Please do not use this company. There is no respect for your property or any damages done to it.

Three of the windows were replaced and looked fine. On the fourth window, he cracked the new pane of glass during installation. So it was bad enough that e left the cracked glass, but didn't clean it and it was filthy on top of letting in water. After two weeks of unanswered texts directly to Chuck Davis, and two calls where Chuck promised to look into the details for me and call me back the next day, I have heard NOTHING from them. I sent Chuck a text telling him to cancel my order and I am finding another vendor. I will not use them again, and would not recommend them.

The windows were cleaned including screens and everything looked good on the surface so we paid the cleaners and they left. The following day I was standing in my kitchen and a spark of light refracted off the large kitchen window and I thought that was funny but I had company at the moment so didn't go and investigate. A couple of days later I noticed some scratches in the large window over my bathtub in the master bath and went outside to investigate. I found multiple scratches in the glass and then I remembered about the kitchen window as well and went around and checked it. I again found multiple scratches in the window. I contacted the office and was told they couldn't come and check out the window that day but would be there the next day. No one ever showed up. I called again and left a message and got no response. My husband then called and was told that they couldn't come until the next day. No show. My husband talked again and couldn't find a date before we left on vacation for the inspection. Then we returned two weeks later and I called twice and made appointments for the inspection and again, no shows.
Today I called the office and the person I talked to was very rude and said we were being uncooperative and it was our fault the appointments hadn't happened. I said we wanted a refund to cover the expenses of having the scratches removed and he refused saying he couldn't do anything without an inspection and he didn't even know if they had put the scratches in the windows any way. Our house is two years old and we have only cleaned the windows ourselves prior to using Squeaky Clean. We had only used a cleaner and soft towels when cleaning our windows before so there is no way the damage was not done by Squeaky Clean.
The scratches are all very straight line like perhaps a cleaning tool was pulled across the surface. The only windows affected were the two large windows the smaller windows are all fine.

While we initially had a problem with the scheduled time, this was immediately rectified. They did an excellent job cleaning windows. I liked that it was only a 2 person crew. I will definitely hire again.

Friendly folks but the experience was a hassle. They didn't bring a big enough ladder the first time even though they knew the height of my tallest windows. They also did not clean the windows on my detached pool house and had to do that on the second trip. Even after the second trip I had to go point out a couple of windows they missed. The cleaning job was pretty good though I notice that some of the window corners did not get cleaned and a couple of the screens are still a little dirty. All in all not terrible but I probably will use another service next time.

When the workers arrived they refused to do the worked for the quote provided because they said the storm windows should double the cost of the job. They claimed they couldn't reach the owner who provided the quote so I contacted him myself. He claimed to have made an honest mistake on the quote and that it should be $500. I can understand a mistake, but didn't think my mother should have to cover the whole cost and Chuck said they would do the work for $400.
They did a horrible job on the windows. The garage windows were not done at all and still had cobwebs on them. They didn't do the window on the back door, and the other two doors were very streaky. They removed and cleaned all the storm windows, but broke one. They had it repaired and when the window was replaced, there were fingerprints with the window caulking on them.
My mom has called a couple of times for them to come out and complete the job, but they just claim that the job is complete. Chuck will pacify her by saying he'll come out the next day, but never comes out.
I think this is a horrible way to treat a customer and a shoddy way to run a business. I won't recommend this company to anybody and will share my experience with anyone that will listen.

Called for estimate on Friday morning, Chuck came out that afternoon & gave estimate, scheduled two workers (Fernando & Juan) to come the next day between 12-2 pm. They do work 6 days/wk. They came at 12:30 pm & were finished in less than two hours. Did a good job - we have a lot of trees around the house; our gutters have screens & a portion were caked with debris from trees. They got on the roof & scraped off the debris & then completely washed off the screens & downspouts.

Things went fine, very good with them. They gave a good price. They did the job. I had guests coming in and I had to get them on a short notice. They were able to get right on the job. They did it fine and quickly. The windows were very clean. The price was better than just okay. Their professionalism was excellent. The people knew what they were doing and were courteous.
