JBS Fence LLC

After getting estimates from half a dozen fencing companies, I chose JBS because of their first impression and reasonable price. Early in May I called JBS and got a quote over the phone. I then requested someone to come on site to talk about various issues. Mark came out promptly, talked to me about various options, and gave me a proposal. Due to various reasons, I didn't want to start the job until mid-June. I called Mark in mid-June to get the process started, then spent over a week calling, leaving messages (when his voice mail wasn't full), and getting no callbacks even when promised. During this time I was able to speak to Mark once for a couple of minutes in which he told me that he had put me on the schedule for the next week pending approval of the proposal, but he had yet to send me a final proposal even though I had sent two emails outlining in detail exactly what I wanted done. On June 27 Mark left me a voice mail saying he was too busy to handle my job, so he was passing it over to Dan. I called Dan and explained the situation and was told that my job was not currently on the schedule. After going back and forth a couple of times and finally getting a final proposal, I sent him an email go-ahead and he put me on the schedule for July 5. On July 5 at 9:30 am I called Dan to find out when the crew was coming and was informed that they were not coming, that they didn't have the materials, and that their supplier did not even have them on their schedule. Dan could not even tell me when he would be getting the supplies or when the job could start. The next day I decided to terminate the job.
