Durango Pool Plaster

When we had him come out and give us an estimate, he seemed really on top of things and seemed to know what he was talking about. The company had just done our neighbors pool and she seemed happy with the work. He gave us a good price and so we decided to move forward. My husband called him and set him up to come out and replaster the pool. The workers seemed to know what they were doing and finished in 2 days time. However, when the pool was getting filled up with water, the owner and my husband checked the pool light to make sure it worked before they left. The only problem is the owner (Enrique) said he saw the light working while my husband stayed at the light switch to turn it on and off. Shame on us for not verifying it ourselves because the light no longer works. Anyway, we called the next day after that to inform the plaster guys that the pool light was not working (it was in proper working order before they disconnected it for the plaster job) and the Enrique said he could come out in the early evening to check it out. He never showed, never called. Then I tried to call him the next day and he would not pick up my phone calls from our home phone. So I tried using my cell phone and sure enough he picked up. Clearly he was avoiding our calls. He told me he was on the other side of town, but after he finished up with that job he would be out probably early afternoon. No show, no call again! I'm so frustrated because I took time out of my day to make sure I was here in case he showed up. We've tried to call him since with the home phone, my cell phone and my husbands cell phone. He picked up my husbands call once, but no surprise he hasn't shown up or called to tell us he's coming since. I'm so glad we didn't spend the extra with him for a more expensive plaster job that came with a warranty. Clearly getting him to do anything for you after he has your money is not going to happen. So any warranty from him would be worthless. If you choose to use his company solely based on price be aware of what you're getting and make sure you personally verify that things are working before you write him a check because you won't be seeing him or talking to him after he has your money.
