Deep Blue Custom Pools

DO NOT HIRE. Inconsistent, improper installation, and overcharged for service provided frequently. I hired Deep Blue Custom Pools for weekly pool cleaning service. Everything went fine for the first few months and then the pool was not cleaned every week. My understanding upon hiring was the service agreement was to be month to month until canceled. At one point the pool was not cleaned for 5 weeks and our pool turned green and we couldn't see the bottom of the pool (see attached pictures.) The person cleaning the pool did not let the billing department know of the missed weeks, so I was still invoiced. They corrected the invoices, but I don't want to have to calculate each invoice. I want weekly service per the agreement. We also have black algae in the pool due to inconsistent cleaning. During evaluations of our equipment, we determined a freeze guard should be installed. The freeze guard was installed and set to turn on the pump to cycle the water and keep the pipes from bursting if the temperature dropped below 38 degrees. A little while later the temperature outside was 34 degrees and I noticed the pump had not turned on. I called Deep Blue and they said they couldn't test the freeze guard because the breaker was tripped, and they couldn't access the breaker. At no point did they let me know the unit was not tested. Long story short, my wife and I had to drain the pump so it wouldn't freeze and break. I've hired a new company and am optimistic based on the professionalism, level of communication, and advice from the new company.

It went very well.  Noticed the crack on Saturday - texted Steve for help.  Steve ordered the new one to be delivered to my house by Wednesday and replaced it the same day.  Steve is professional, courteous, and prompt - his work is very high quality, he uses good products and materials - and still manages to provide excellent value for money.
After experiencing several sub-par vendors - I looked up Deep Blue Pools on Angie's List and have now used them for several jobs - large and small.  Each time I have been very pleased - cannot recommend Deep Blue Pools and Steve too highly.

He is very good with call backs and coming out looking at your pool. He is probably the best price for resetting the equipment. He actually text me down the quote when I was working with him.

Steve came to the house and helped me think through what I wanted. He had good ideas and was realistic with my budget.
