He completed the work on time and at first it looked good. As I intended to put the condo on the market, I wanted the cracks repaired and the ceilings repainted. He talking about "injecting" a 65 year caulk that would do the job. 6 months later some of the cracks are back, very noticeably, especially along one bedroom wall ceiling at the crown molding. The wall is sound. There has been no leaking roof or any issue that should cause the caulk job to fail. Regardless, when we contracted him to do the work, he said his repair would do the job, and now today (6/9/15) he drops in to inspect the ceiling cracks, utters a lot of mumbo jumbo about a 30 year old building and vibrations. I said that I would not have hired him to do a job that would only last 6 months. He said he never knows how long it will last. Obviously he didn't say that when he quoted the work. He wants more money the fix the cracks. Why would I pay him again to do a job that didn't work the first time?
Description of Work: Filled cracks in ceiling and crown moldings. Repainted ceiling and kitchen cabinets.
