Terrible job. Do not hire these guys at all. When they installed the new furnace they put back the old supply/return plenums which are too small and so my a/c is not running efficiently and will cause it to breakdown in a few years. The evaporator coil is too close to the electrical wiring which will cause condensation and problems in the future. The condenser makes a loud noise every time it starts and stops which might be a bad compressor. I asked them about the compressor and even though it's under warranty they wanted to charge me over $300 to change it. I will never hire them again or recommend them to anybody.

A/C system stopped cooling at 8pm on a Friday night. Called Jose and he was here in 30 minutes and fixed the unit. Told me it's covered by warranty! Fast, professional and friendly. The best hvac contractor I've ever dealt with. I recommend Valderrama A/C over all others!

Jose Soto and his service crew did a great job on my replacement! The first initial appointment was made the same day I called and the quote was delivered before he left. He worked with me on the price and type of equipment I wanted. His team came the very next day to install and were done before end of day. His installation crew was very professional and informative. If you like a few details read. I had a fantastic mini split installation experience with Valderrama AC. I bought a mini split system on my own and contacted 6 or 7 AC contractors for the installation. If you’re like me (taking the time researching about a subject), probably you have found about the horrors and unfair practices of some AC companies, that’s why I called a few. In the end, I narrowed the list down to these guys and another contractor. The other contractor’s bid was a bit lower than Valderrama’s, yet I didn’t choose them. Usually, if I can’t get a job like this done on my own I try to read and document myself as much as I can to learn about what it takes and possibly find where could problems lie. On the mini split that I bought there were manufacturer’s specifications on the flares and the torque needed to tighten those flares. Neither contractor carried the mini split brand I bought. This is what helped me choose Valderrama AC even though they were slightly higher on their bid. The other guys were very professional and laid out a plan on their visit. However, they didn’t guarantee that they were going to comply on following “necessarily” the torque specification for my brand with a torque wrench. On the other hand, Jose (Valderrama AC’s owner) paid special attention to my requests and was very warm in the conversation. At one point, I remember he acknowledged that I can and should ask for the things I was asking since I’m paying for the installation. He assured me that the flares would be cut per my brand’s specification and the technician he would send would carry the torque wrench to torque accordingly as well (25-30lb-ft, for my mini split). Very accommodating. Adan, the technician he sent was amazing as well. I won’t go over details, but there were a few difficulties installing the indoor unit in the room selected. Adan went out on his way thinking outside the box to perform the installation. I was extremely satisfied with his solution. Really nice guy to talk to as well. Adan also pointed out that the copper line I got was wider than the one required. He explained that while he could work around that by adding more R410 (refrigerant) he didn’t recommend it as it could strain the system more and would lead to failure. He strongly recommended the exchange to the correct copper line even though that meant another trip. I kept thinking that this is the kind of dishonesty some bad companies exploit. They would’ve ignored the problem, possibly notify me that they added refrigerant, charge me for it, and later receive a call for repair as the added load broke the system prematurely. I noticed that they are still a small company, and probably that’s why I received the kind of service I got from them. I’m glad I called them, as I nearly didn’t. If they don’t drop the level of service they showed with this installation, I will call them for the maintenance and repair of my standard AC units. Based on my experience, you have a solid recommendation from me.

The unit sold at my home required them to visit every month in summer due to problems on Unit, it took him 18 months to "FIX" a new Unit after I demanded a new replacement, on my business he convince me to "rebuild" a 20 yr old water cooled Unit for only $4600, BIG BIG mistake from someone with "experience in the Industry" unit only work after been "rebuilt" one season and stopped cooling, he pointed it was the malls fault for not servicing water tower, and here we are completely unhappy, to have him come it was nothing but excuses, when I threaten to sue him for fraud he said "you will not go anywhere" so I decided to make this note, be AWARE he will be very nice and be there right away, but that will be it.... i can be contacted at 817-829-1239 Jesus

The owner, Mr. Jose Soto, met with me in my home on 5/27/16 and explained all the options. I also met with two other AC/heating contractors for a total of three quotes. The next morning Mr. Soto and his crew arrived at 8:30 AM and removed my old equipment and installed a completely new AC & Heating unit before 3 PM. My house was clean when they arrived and cleaner when they left....All floors covered....they vacuumed ...spotless. I had a total of three contractors who were highly recommended. The cost were all about the same. I chose Valderrama A/C because: (1) I was dealing with the owner. (2) He has been in the heating and cooling business his entire life. (3) Angie List A and excellent report on BBB (4) He was installing the better brand equipment according to Consumer Guide...(Bryant)....than the other two contractors...(5) He clearly takes pride in this business and as did his veteran crew. I give his business my high recommendation!

Provided free estimate and detailed quote and options. On day of installation, arrived on time with all necessary equipment and parts. Very professional and worked without wasting time. Kept house clean; placed drop cloths, removed shoes, etc. Kept the owner informed of progress and provided comprehensive review of each piece of the system before leaving. Great price, great crew, great experience. I highly recommend Valderrama HVAC.

We are on a fixed income. We spoke with the owner and explained our situation. He was very, very nice and promised to get someone out to us right away. He told me that he would not charge us for this service call given our situation. My husband is disabled and we are both senior citizens. He told us that the only charge would come from actual parts and labor. When the two very professional employees showed up they checked everything. Then we came up with a plan. When the heater quits blowing hot air we are to let it try and reset itself before we turn it off. If it does not reset itself after a half hour we are to turn it off and call them back out. Then they should be able to receive an error code, so that they will know exactly what the problem is. We did not want them just randomly changing out things until we are sure what the issue is. We are very happy with this plan and with the fact that we were not charged for this initial visit. My husband and I believe that this is an honest company that honors their owner's word.

We tried Valderrama AC based on Angie's list and their website content, send an email through their website and got a response the next day.
Got a call from their field sales representative who made an appointment, arrived on time and went over the project details with me. He send me the all-inclusive price by txt two days later. I did request a written quote that I did not receive since their office manager was with leave of absence.
Still decided to give the work to Valderrama and had to reschedule several times which was not a problem. Most communication through txt which was fine with me. Their crew arrived on time, communicated well, walked in our house with sleeves over their shoes and were respectful.
Later in the afternoon, their field sales man (veteran) showed up to give assistance to the two man crew. He wanted to make sure all went as per plan, noticed the two man crew was behind schedule and took his toolkit out of the truck, rolled up sleeves and got to work.
When it became dark another Valderrama truck showed up with the owner who wanted to make sure all went to plan.
Long story short the whole crew got the job done, later than expected and I was worried for additional charges since I did not had the written quote. The owner mentioned no problem what is agreed is agreed and he wants to make sure all is done in a safe manner.
Despite we did not "know" this company in our 77024 zip code, we rate Valderrama AC high based on their workmanship, team work and honesty besides they hire Vets which is always a great sign of confidence. We are glad they were on the Angie's List and they did not disappointed us while other "known" AC providers in the area refused to install this mini split due to third party liability excuses. Keep up the good work

Valderrama A/c did a great job. I was surprised on how quick they did the job. The price was a little high i though, compared to the other estimates i got. what sold me was the professionalism by Jose Soto and the 10 year warranty he gave me. I also purchased a maintenance agreement which will maximize my equipment potential. They did an outstanding job.

My A/C went out over the summer. These guys went above and beyond to get to me quick. The entire system was replaced. They were very efficient and conscientious of my floors, taking time to cover their shoes AND lay down protection. They worked tirelessly and did a wonderful job. Valderrama A/C are a very professional, they call me half hours before arrive, as soon they arrived they knock the door and introduce himself, and then went on to explain step by step what they would do, the first thing was, cover my carpet and their shoes. they ask permission every time they need to use the bathroom, or any time they need to come inside the house.
they management the time very well I was thinking that it would take all day to this job, Guess what?? it was fast that I though.
by the time they finish they clean up everything, my house was the same way the find it. Omg!! they was so quieted my husband was wondering about the light bill, but my bill is very reasonable.
I will recommend this company to all my family and friend and definitely I will use them again.
