 + -1 moreThe initial contact and scheduling went well, and they were able to quickly come do the repair. They arrived on time and went right to work. When the crew left, they told me they were out of window cleaner and that they could not properly clean the window. I agreed that was no big deal and that I could clean the window after 24 hours as they directed. When we attempted to clean the window, we learned there are marks, water spots and streaks that cannot be removed. It is now apparent that the company did not use a new piece of glass, but that they replaced my window with an old, used piece of glass. I have twice attempted to contact them with no results. I will keep trying and edit this review if they replace my window with new glass.
Description of Work: They replaced a broken window pane in a large sliding bedroom window.

 + -1 moreThey did a good job. Somebody came out at the end of the day and they performed the service. The price was good. They were fine. They did the work at the price quoted. They came on the day they were supposed to come.
Description of Work: I used the Precision Glass. I had some broken windows and they replaced them. I had three windows replaced.

 + 0 moreI saw them working at my neighbors house. David came over and gave me a price to fix it. He contacted me the next day and said he was enroute to come and fix the pane. He was awesome, laid out cloth on both sides of the window. He removed the window carefully. He installed the new pane and put on new trim around the window. He cleaned out the area around the work. It was immaculate. I will definitely refer him to friends and family.

 + -1 moreMy son broke the window on Wednesday night. I called them on Thursday, they said they would get out that day or Friday. They called me on Thursday afternoon and said: "we can't get out, can we get out there on Friday?"; and I said: " I had something going on". So, they called me late Friday afternoon and said: "are you available?" and I said: "no' and they said: "we'll get out there Saturday morning, we will take care of it for you." They charges us from what they originally said. They got the job done under 30 minutes. They only work Monday to Friday, but they even came out on Saturday to get our window fixed. Somebody had rated them kind of a low on something and I think it was responsiveness, but they responded quickly. We definitely had an A experience and it was a matter of working around our schedule and theirs, and they made it work. They went above and beyond the call of duty and they didn't even charge us extra.
Description of Work: I used Precision Glass and Mirror Co. to fix our single pane glass window that my son broke.

Description of Work: Called them after my house was broken into to have window and door glass replaced. The estimate was very high $1400 plus. I scheduled them to come out at around 4:30 pm after I came home and discovered the burglary. At about 5:30pm I received a call from one of the guys who was going to come to my house, he was asking directions He told me it would be about 3-4.5 hrs. Before they got here. At 6:50pm I called him back and told him that the price they quoted me was too high and my insurance was not going to cover it. I asked them not to come. They said that was fine and never mentioned any minimum service fee. Today 9/14/2011, a representitive from this company called me and told me that I there was a minimum $100 service fee that I owed him. I told him no and then he said if I was a "good person" I would pay him $75.00. I told him no. I believe he was trying to rip me off as I ended up paying half of what he quoted me to another company.

 + -1 moreIt was in a three-story townhouse, so they didn't have ladders to reach high enough. They had to put up scaffolding. They came in right when they said they'd be here. It was a great experience. They cleaned up after themselves very well. They called at 8:30, said they would be there in an hour, and arrived by 9:30. Their price was better than the competing price; they were under by at least $200.
