Dr. Janecek and her staff were wonderfully caring, kind and knowledgeable. They saved me unnecessary expenses. I'll be taking all my pets to Simonton.

We were visiting our daughter for the Xmas holidays - in Texas. We are from Pennsylvania. On New Years eve our old springer spaniel started to bleed profusely from a ruptured tumor. We were in panic. First let me say my daughter lives in Cinco Ranch -14 miles away from Simonton. But, she - and all of her friends warned us that while the MANY vets in Cinco Ranch were OK, they were not always cooperative, informative and were especially expensive. Three different neighbors/friends recommended Simonton. When we called, they told us to rush her right over. No hesitation. No, and quot;we can fit her in at 4:30.Just - come now.and quot; Dr. Jancek was very patient, knowledgeable and understanding. She took excellent care of Zoey, stabilized the problem, than carefully and at great length explained the options and issues involved - and we scheduled the surgery. We were out-of-towners that she would never see again, probably! Yet she was wonderful. It was about the animals - not the business or profitability! The surgery went perfect and everything is wonderful. Now, this is not a big shinny mega - million dollar facility. It is a nice little country ranch house setting. Very friendly, very low key. But welcoming and well equipped as any. The best news - I thought the holiday surgery was going to wipe out my life savings. It did not. Prices were very, very fair, and I know half what we would have paid in Pennsylvania even with our regular vet. I give Dr. Jancek and Simonton Veterinary Clinic five stars all the way. You can't do better. By the way - I sat there quite a while at several points not because they were overbooking and chaotic - but as we witnessed Dr. Jancek taking lots and lots and lots of time with her patients and their owners. Who can ask for more?
