Real Estate Service
One day before the listing expired the agent notified us via email that an offer had been made on the house. We immediately informed her that we wanted to accept the offer. For two weeks we left numerous voice and email messages that we wanted to close the deal. Eventually the buyer saw our "for sale by owner" sign and contacted us directly. He stated that he had called the agent numerous times and was not getting a response either. We ended up having to hire an attorney to handle the paperwork and the closing. It was a very frustrating experience.
