I called M.E. Plumbing on 13 Mar 15 to see if I could get a few very small plumbing jobs done at my home and they were able to accommodate me with an appointment the very same day which was great. I called them at 1100 am was told by the secretary that a plumber would be at my house in approximately 20 minutes.  As I was leaving work to hurry home I received another phone call (at approximately 1115) and was told that the plumbers were going on lunch and it would be about 1230 before they would arrive.  At 1245 when they still didn't show up I called again and was told they were on their way.  They finally arrived around 1250 time frame.  They were pleasant and came into my home and looked at the job to be done....used my bathroom (both of them--not sure why since they just got there from their lunch break) and they left after approximately 20 minutes to get supplies from Lowe's.  So they ran to Lowe's.  By this time it was 1:10 pm and I was in a rush to get back to work and could no longer wait for them so I asked my next door neighbor if he would mind letting the plumbers back in when they returned from their Lowe's trip and he said he would and I told my neighbor that there was a check for the plumbers on the counter and to fill in the amount when they gave the bill.  When the plumbers returned they were here for 30 minutes total the second time.  My neighbor paid them with a check I left and while I was at work he told me the bill was $250.  I was shocked.  I had no clue what could be so costly.  So when I returned home I read the bill that was left on my table and it showed that I was charged for 2.5 hours of labor.  When I looked closer at the bill I notice that I was charged for a start time of NOON!!!  And they wrote 2:00 as the finish time and then wrote over one of the zero's with a 3 therefore changing the finish time to 2:30.  I was charged for the trip to Lowe's even though the plumbers were not prepared.  I called and emailed the company regarding this matter and they ended up subtracting $100 from the bill to accommodate the trip to Lowe's but they said that according to their policy that travel time to the home is part of their labor charge of approximately $89 an hour so I was still charged for the start time of noon.  I called the company back a few days later since one of my initial issues was the water heater not heating the water in the house adequately and this problem was still not remedied.  The owner called me back and left a voicemail message saying he would personally look into it.  I was very busy with work and had to wait several weeks for my schedule to open up enough so I could be there at the house to meet with the owner to fix this problem.  Finally, on the 4th of May my schedule looked relatively open for the next few weeks so I called M.E. Plumbing again to set up an appointment to resolve the problem with the water heater.  I called them and spoke to the secretary and reminded her of my past experience and the fact that I'm giving them the opportunity to resolve this situation and she told me that she would discuss this with the owner and call me back and that was 9 days ago and I have yet to get a call back (no missed calls, no voicemails, nothing).  I called a different plumbing company and they are fixing the issue today because I actually need a new water heater--the plumber from M.E. Plumbing only adjusted the temperature of the water heater which I had already done myself and told the plumber that this didn't correct the problem but he still only adjusted the thermostat.  I am very disappointed with the service I received with this company.

We started noticing our hot water was not lasting as long.  Called for a service call and the plumber showed my husband where the water heater was actually leaking and had built up along the bottom of a wall in a garage.  We went ahead and scheduled to have it replaced with a new electric 50 gallon water heater.  The plumber and helper were very nice and respectful.

When we noticed the water flowing into our yard, we called the City of Seguin. They were very prompt in their response although it was New Years Day. We were informed that the ruptured line was coming off of our side of the water meter and was our responsibility to repair. The City employee turned shut off the water main, leaving us without water.
I called M.E. Plumbing. I should note that I have used M.E. Plumbing multiple times over the past 4 years. They have an emergency 24/7 response line but I have never had emergency services. I called them and talked to the project manager. He notified the plumber & his helper and they were at our home within an hour. They had to dig a large hole and replace the water line. The job took 3 hrs on a holiday. The plumber has been to our home before. As always, he was friendly & relaxed and for a man who has had his holiday interrupted, I was pleasantly surprised. They worked efficiently and restored our water supply, checking in with us on the way out to verify that all was well.
If you have an emergency, they really will come and fix the problem.
