I had extended my small patio in 2014, and made the mistake of not using someone from Angie's List.  They used too much water in the mix, and it settled creating a bowl in the new portion of my patio.  When I called them to come look and see what they could do, they would not return my calls. 
So, this year I got a couple of estimates to make the patio more uniform in appearance, and get rid of the 2 inches of water that were collecting every time it rained. After getting some input and estimates from multiple concrete service companies, I chose Advanced Concrete.  I'm very pleased with the results.  Mike was a pleasant guy.  He did most of the work himself.  He showed up when he promised and  took pride in his work.   And I am painfully reminded to choose my home improvement service providers from Angie's list every time I need work done.  

I met Mike at the SA Home Show several years ago and fortunately kept his card.  He was prompt for our appointment and provided a printed estimate on the spot.  Because of the rainy Spring, our project start was delayed several times, but he kept me up to date and ensured I knew we were on his project list.  Once we had a few days of break from the rains, the project started.  Mike and his crew arrived on schedule and completed each phase quickly.  He explained each phase as he started it and suggested enhancements that would compliment the house and landscaping.  He inlaid a Texas star on the front porch and put recessed borders on both porches.  His sense of style resulted in a beautiful outcome that blended four paint colors and matched both our brick façade and the stones in our landscaping.  He finished the project by spraying a colored acrylic-concrete mixture on the vertical foundation surfaces and sealing all surfaces with several coats of clear overcoat.  The resulting surfaces are beautiful and easy to maintain.

I mostly said the details above.  He did two projects for us and both were outstanding.  He does an amazing job.  He can turn the ugliest patio, which we had, into a gorgeous flagstone looking patio.  He is amazing and he has amazing workers with him.  He explained every step of the process of creating a beautiful patio.  I highly recommend him.

Mr. Mike Turby and his helpers arrived on July 23, 2012 at the appointed time.  They helped me to move my washer and dryer into the house in preparation of the work.  They repaired existing cracks and smoothed the floor before they applied the Durafleck System. They sealed and polished the finished floor.  The work was done in a very professional manner and everything was cleaned up before they left. Mr. Turby came back after the floor was dry (3 days) and helped to move back my washer and dryer into the garage.

A neighbor used this company to perform the services mentioned above.  We liked what we saw and wanted to learn more about the process to see if we wanted to pursue it for our home so we took a flyer they left on the neighbor's front yard.  We looked at their website and scheduled to have a free estimate.  The estimate was provided.  We did not pursue because the price was too high for our budget.

Mike arrived exactly on time for the estimate. He arrived on time, as promised, for the work which took, because of the drying time of the compounds used, three visits. He discussed colors and other options with us. We ended up with a non-skid surface which, from a few feet away, has somewhat the appearance of terrazzo. We plan on having him do our backyard patio at some future date. As noted, you should mask doors and windows facing the work. The odor of the chemicals used is penetrating and, when the weather is cold, it's hard to air out the house.
