I had a sewer cleanout riser that was broken off at the main line. They had to dig it up, go in and cut out a section of it and put in a new "T" section and a new riser. They shot me with the estimate and pleased me with the price.

In the mainline a tree root had gotten into sewer line and they cleared that out. My question to them was do I need the whole line replaced because the tree which can get into it is leaking or whatever and he says no. He says if you have it cleared out once a year that should take care of it. You do not need the line replaced. This was two years ago and have not had any problem. He told me not to use a copper sulfate product and I have not done that either but we have not had any problems since then. He told me how by using a copper sulfate product in that line you know flushing it down the toilet to get into that area.

I called in a panic at 10 pm on Labor Day because an empty sink in the master bathroom was filling and overflowing.  Susan, who called me back after I left a message on Huber's voicemail, recognized the problem and advised that the air conditioning overflow pan was flowing into my sink.  I realized I did not need a plumber immediately - I re-emptied the sink and turned off the air conditioning  for the rest of the night.  Susan promised that a plumber would be at my door at 8 am the next morning.  Allen showed up at a minute or two before 8 am and immediately confirmed Susan's diagnosis.  He snaked and vacuumed (and something else but I don't remember exactly what)  to ream out the sludge that had accumulated between the attic and the 2nd floor and also reamed out between the 2nd floor and 1st floor.  Apparently sludge from the attic had blocked the sink (which probably explains why lots of Liquid-Plumr did not work).  He advised me how to avoid future occurrences.  He then replaced a slow leaking flapper in the toilet, installed 2 Dr. Mercola Bidets, and, with some difficulty, installed a curved shower curtain rod for me, which is not something a plumber normally does - it being more of a handyman job.  But I greatly appreciated his being willing to do it.
I was very pleased with Huber's prompt response and on-time delivery.  And I was very grateful that they were flexible enough to do those other things for me.
I also appreciated that, without being asked, Allen took the extra steps to walk up the driveway and along the path when he had to go back and forth to the truck - he did not take a short cut across the lawn, which would have resulted in tramping dirt and grass cuttings into the house.

The water heater is crooked. They left the old pan under it. The pan needed to be replaced. It is so bent up I don't think it would hold water if it leaked. They also left the old heater in the attic. They said it was too large to get down. They also left huge ruts in my yard from their truck. I requested that they fax a receipt for the work. I have never gotten it.
