THRU NANCY'S WINDOWS

She came to my home very quickly after I initially called her and measured my windows. She brought some samples of material to look at. I chose to go by her office to look at some more samples. She had an entire room with books of fabric samples that I could go through to choose. She sat with me to help me pick coordinating fabrics. She allowed me to bring some fabric books home so that I didn't have to make my decision on the spur of the moment. I could think about it for a few days, in case I changed my mind.... which I did. I had already gotten an estimate from a local department store for the valances and her price was much better. Also, she was extremely accommodating in customizing the valances. The local department store pretty much had a booklet of the various options to make the valances. There were really no deviations allowed. Yes, they were customized because they were not pre-made. They were made to order just as long as you picked an available pattern. Nancy brings new meaning to the word, "Customized". I was able to look at some specific patterns, but if I didn't really like those.... there was no limit to my choices. I showed her a picture that I had printed from the internet of a valance that I liked and wanted something like that for a guest room. No problem she said, "I can make that." If I wanted to alter a specific pattern shape or add cording or tassles or trim.... no problem. Working with Nancy is great because not only does she help you decide, she is the one making them. If you can imagine it, she can make it! She was very friendly and helpful in all aspects of the planning .... fabric choice, colors, designs, trim, length. The workmanship was very professional and the results were FANTASTIC. My neighbors have given me compliments on how nice they look. Thru Nancy's Windows is a real find, if you need curtains or valances. You won't be sorry!
