Dr. Klufas recommended that I try daily contacts, which I had in the past but they were too expensive to justify at that time. He gave me a week's supply of the daily wear and a follow up appointment for today (10/10/2013).
I decided to stay with my current contact brand, but appreciated that I was able to see if the daily contacts would work for me. Dr. Klufas calculated a quick price comparison for my current contacts and cleaning solution against the cost of the daily wear, and was about the same. The daily wear weren't comfortable for me (due to having allergies and drier eyes normally), so we agreed that staying with my current contact brand would be best for now, but I needed to be diligent in replacing them on time. He recommended a reminder system that my current contact brand has on their website! I set up the reminders and will get them by text and e-mail (in case I don't read my e-mail that day). I know that it shouldn't be hard to remember when to change your contacts, but I am terrible about it. This is the perfect solution! Thank you, Dr. Klufas, for your expert knowledge and expertise!
