Jim and his crew are always good about finding reasonable, workable solutions to problems that arise in a 70-year-old home.

All the work was excellently done - completed perfectly. he made suggestions as to what would be best to show the house well, and told us not to do some things because they wouldn't be good investments.

Jim ALWAYS showed up on time every time. His crew was great! Respectful and helpful. I went over to mow the lawn one day and the painter stopped what he was doing to help me with the lawnmower - both when I got it out and when I was done. They were neat and kept everything picked up. They never left any trash around.



Jim and his crew worked hard and were consistent. They prepared the exterior rough cedar walls and soffits, replacing rotted wood and some siding. They came up with good solutions to every problem they discovered. They spray washed the rock walls, repaired walls where needed, spray cleaned the sidewalks. Cleaned the exterior windows. They painted all the exterior and stained two exterior doors. They repaired drywall inside, replaced two doors, and painted the entire 5 bedroom house ( plus two living areas and a dining room).They removed wallpaper and paneling and painted two baths. Removed old electric ceiling heaters and replaced with combo light/heaters. Re-caulked the bathtubs. Installed new carpet in all bedrooms, upstairs hall and stairs. Repaired rockwork on the fireplace outside. Removed an entire wall of professionally installed mirrors, replaced the window sill that had been cut off. They discovered and fixed electrical issues in one of the bedrooms. They replaced all door hinges and door knobs throughout the house. They removed and replaced both toilets and both lavatory faucets. His men are hard workers, very pleasant.



He called me every Monday morning to report on progress and to tell me what they planned to do next and when they thought it would be completed.  His crew worked hard every day.



I couldn't rate Jim higher! He is awesome! Once this house sells (he even found us a realtor!) we will have him do work on our current home. He is perfectly honest, professional and fair.

The person they sent out wasn't a real carpenter in my opinion.  They had to tear the steps back down because each step was a different height.  They did end up redoing it.  I don't think the steps are unsafe but the job is slightly sloppy.  The fence work was about of the same quality.  The price was good and they were willing to repair it whereas other handymen wanted to replace the whole fence.

He has done flooring for me in the past, as well.  He has done good work; I would recommend him.

He does excellent work. We recommend him to everyone and he also does work for our neighbors.

He is a general contractor. We negotiated with our neighbors. He has replaced parts of fences for other people, because they liked him so much. We had a couple of leaks after the roofing job. We found out that the people who originally put on the roof messed it up. They explained it all at no cost to us. We recommended him to a friend, who had roof problems. That friend had the same problem, and he recommended that he contact her builder, all at no cost. The builder came out and fixed it at no cost to her. He's a good guy. He has done work for my husband's mother, my husband's sister, and my sister.
