First, I want to acknowledge my Escrow Officer Tina Bunn, who was exceptionally professional, considerate and helpful!!!
As indicated, in Jan 2013 Tina worked with my wife and I to close the sale of property we were buying in Selma.  Leading up to closing, Tina continuously kept us well informed with progress and promptly answered all of our questions.  The closing event was very smooth and there were no surprises. After close, final paperwork was provided quickly, and all work done by Independence Title and Tina Bunn was accurate.
Above and Beyond:  We are now closing on a house (Apr 2013) with a different Title Co, based on our lender's recommendation.  Less than 48 hours before scheduled close, an issue arose concerning Title Insurance and I had to contact Independence Title for help with previous closing documentation.  Tina Bunn responded right away and provided information needed immediately.  Upon providing that information to the 'other' Title Co., they took a day to inform me that the information provided fell short of what they wanted (not Tina's fault--the other Title Co. wasn't clear with their request).  I called Tina Bunn back with 1 1/2 hours to go for close and explained the situation to her.  She asked for and I provided her the name and phone number of my current Escrow Officer, and she immediately called them and resolved the issue.  Because of her outstanding efforts, months after serving as our Escrow Officer, we saved over $350 at closing.
Bottom Line:  If you need responsive and professional Title services, contact Tina Bunn at Independence Title Co., Schertz.  I have learned my lesson and will return to her whenever I need future services.
