One of them, it wouldn't turn on. The light wouldn't turn off and the fan wouldn't turn on. That was the baby's room so that was kind of a bad thing.
"Granny's Guy set a number of appointments with the customer. On a number of occasions (at least 4) I would travel to the location and there would be no one home, or they would be sleeping, etc. I would leave my card on the door and later, after sending an email, i would receive notice wanting me to come out again. A number of trips were made(without charge) to the residence with no one available. Eventually i decided to no longer accept service requests from this customer as this customer resided out of town and the costs were no longer acceptable. As for the initial service, There was one wire contact in the master bedroom that had come loose on the ceiling fan light and was promptly serviced. I was called out to inspect why the ceiling fans in a number of rooms no longer were working and checked each fan. It was determined that the code that allowed the remote controls for these fans to function had been changed to all coordinate with the fan in the son's bedroom. Someone had changed the codes ( resident believed it to be the son). I changed the codes back to their original settings and the fans were all working properly. I submitted a bill for the time to travel to the job, fix the remotes, and test all units. That bill was never paid by the customer."
"[removed member name] did contract to enclose the patio and to construct a patio cover for the rear of their home. Although the job did indeed take longer than anticipated, the work was completed in a professional and workmanlike manner up to the time the contract was terminated. At no time during the entire process did the customer question the quality of work and the one change the customer did request was an additional design change they agreed was not part of the contract. Granny’s Guy also has complete photos depicting the quality of the work provided. Additionally, [removed member name] was presented invoices for material costs that Granny’s Guy had incurred and he failed to provide full payment in breach of contract. The customer was also responsible for permitting. These factors lead to a mutually agreeable termination of the contract."
