Well they wanted a review right away. Well this month  (May) the door has gone back to  doing the same thing it did when I first called them. I spent a lot of money only get 1 month guaranteed.  I plan to call someone else take a look at the door. The repairman was friendly professional, but the cost  was high for the amount of time the door worked correctly. The sales people on the phone were pushy trying to get me to let them come back out sort of condescending.

Called on a Thursday and they arrived the following Monday morning.  Called about 20 min before arrival.  Removed old openers and installed new ones.  Lubricated springs and rollers on the doors and showed me how to do it in the future.  Cleaned up and hauled away old openers.  Set up all remotes.  Very professional.

My garage door has slowly broken in places over the past years and Garage Door Services has repaired it a number of times. It was time to totally replace it when the overhead spring broke. That spring would have cost approx. $200 by itself, and the door would still be in the same shape it was then. For a bit more, they ordered a colored door, replaced the broken one and installed new tracks, spring and hardware. They reattached and adjusted the opener and with the new nylon wheels on this door, it is amazingly quiet. Since I did want the colored door, they had to order it with a half downpayment and told me it would arrived in approx 3 weeks, but it came in about 2 weeks. Their technician was great, arrived early and finished the whole job and hauled off the old door and materials in just over an hour. Nice job and I am very pleased.

They have done an excellent job on both repairs. I highly recommend them.

Our garage door was not closing properly. It would get to the halfway point then it would go right back up again. I called and they set up a day and time to come out. They arrived on time and Luis Alvarado, the service manager, went right to work and within a few minutes he had reset the door's control panel. It turns out that the limits were incorrect or had somehow gone out of their proper settings. He also rechecked the garage door sensors and reset those as well. He also took the time to show me how to disconnect the door in case of a power failure and how to easily reconnect it.

He also sprayed lubricant on the door's springs, hinges and rollers and then he replaced one of the rollers that was broken and was the cause of alot of the noise we were hearing. All in all, this man was very professional and courteous. He then explained that we had a 30 day warranty should we choose to perform any upgrades to our older sensors and garage door rollers.

I was very impressed bye the honesty and professional that was displayed by this company and by Mr. Alvarado as the face of the company. We paid $89.95 for the service call which I consider to be very fair considering the distance to our house and the fuel that they are using.

I highly recommend Garage Door Services of Houston to any one having problems with a garage door.

They did a great job! The person who replaced the garage door was very knowledgeable and friendly. They were able to get me on the schedule with a very quick turnaround. They were very accommodating to my schedule.
