CONTRERAS FLOWERS & GIFTS

I called Contreras on May 4th to order flowers for Mother's Day. I had ordered from this provider before and the gift recipient had been happy with their flowers so I planned to purchase from them again. The first time I dialed their number the call was picked up, then immediately disconnected. On my second call I was given a generic voice mail, with no identification of this being the voice mail for Contreras Flowers and Gifts. Thinking I had inadvertently dialed the wrong number I checked their website, but It was the correct number. On my third call attempt a woman did answer the phone and identified that this was indeed Contreras Flowers and Gifts. I said that I would like to order Mother's Day flowers. She asked me when Mother's Day was! I am not making this up, and was so shocked that a florist would ask this that I presumed it was some kind of strange joke, so I respnded that I did not know. She asked an associate for the correct date, then told me that Mother's Day was Sunday, May 8th and that they did not deliver that day. Again, I honestly am not making this up. Besides the the fact that I never got far enough in the conversation to specify a delivery date, it was clear that whoever was answering the phone did not want to be bothered with placing an order. I thanked her for her help then hung up the phone and found another florist. This experience was pretty unbelievable to me, but a true representation of my experience with this provider. I would be happy to verify all of the above with the owner of Contreras Flowers and Gifts were they to contact me directly.

The colors were vibrant, everything on the wreath was lovely.

Their products are very high quality, and priced very reasonable. They have good customer service and offer good suggestions.
