I had two quotes for tree services from reputable firms on Angie's list. Alamo City Arbor Care was the most price competitive by far. His original estimate was $700. After agreeing to the proposal, Jon indicated that he would call me during the next week and schedule the job around some of his other work. He asked if one day notice was OK. I agreed that it was. He did exactly as promised and called the day before coming out, He and his crew were on time as promised. They had the tree down and everything cleaned up in 3 hours. Since the oak trimming job was less complex and went faster than they had initially thought, Jon discounted the price to $525 plus tax. I can't remember the last time I got more while paying less, and still getting first class honest service. Incredible in this day and age. I highly recommend this company and will definitely call them again.

They did a very good job and what was so unbelievable was that they didn't leave a mess for me to clean up. They brought a (wood) chipper with them. They also didn't charge my neighbor for coming out to do work for him since they were already out here on a job for me. I thought that was very nice of them.

John and the crew were very professional. One of the things that really impressed me was how they cleaned the entire area after finishing the job. The branches that were trimmed were put into a mulching machine that went directly into the back of the truck, and not left there for me to dispose of at either my own expense or of the cities expense like some companies do just before junk day. They also swept and even picked up the small sticks scattered around the yard from the trimming. The job was done well enough that I won't need to do it again for a few years.

We've used this company twice and think they're very professional and competent. It took them a few hours to trim two trees and they cleaned up the yard debris well after working. The trees are doing very well and look neat and well taken care of.
