Beware! Although they call themselves Affordable Air, they should be called "Un-Affordable Air". Unaffordable air will cost you more than you expected. Incomplete, faulty work that leads to home damage and a number of other problems. Expensive home repairs due to poor workmanship, poor communication , no follow through, blame placed on others, empty promises and left frustrated with a handful of bills, due to poor job. Do not recommend this company.

Another company set me up with Affordable Air and they were great. They were honest with their original quote. They didn't add any costs. They were efficient and told me what I needed. They did a few extra things without charging me. The quality of work when it was done was great.

I chose them because I have used them before.

I was stood up on the first appointment. The owner called me a couple of weeks later and explained the office person was out. I let them come out to do the ac tune-ups. They forgot the filters and then charged me double for service. About two weeks after service I wrote a letter and it was ignored. Only when I contacted Angie's List did the owner, Brett, respond. I was very disappointed in the service all the way around. They did refund half of the money after I contacted Angie's List and complained.

Will I use this company again. No. On my end, I will always make sure that I get a quote in writing. It's a shame that I won't use this company again as I prefer to do business locally.

.Last night I noticed that my central AC unit wasn't cooling like it normally does. Woke up this morning and started calling service companies to come out and make the repair. Affordable was one of 6 that I left messages with. Within 15 minutes they called me back and told me they could have someone here in 20 minutes. The tech showed up on time and began troubleshooting the problem. He quickly saw that the compressor was not starting. After cooling it down it still did not work. He then installed a Hard Start Kit and new capacitor and it started working great. I highly recommend them for their prompt, knowledgeable service.

I can not say enough good things about this company and the technicians. They showed up right on time and went above and beyond to explain what was going on to me. He was so honest. He answered all of my questions and addressed every single concern. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and efficient.
I wholeheartedly recommend them. When the time comes for a new system, I will have them do it. I will also have them perform maintenance from now on.

He took the time to tell us what he did and why. He was on time for his appointment and called 30 minutes before arriving as promised by the dispatcher. He was very determined to get the job done.

We didn't have any problems with him. The technician was a very nice, honest man and really tried to do the best he could. He gave us good information and I would recommend him!

They were very friendly and responsive. They came out the next day, replaced a capacitor. It worked for a few hours and then it went out. He was trying to save us money and he told us that it might not work. We called him back and they came out the next morning to replace the motor. They reduced our labor fee since we had just paid labor the day before. We couldn't be more pleased with them as well. They provided real quick service. They had fair pricing. We have had no problems.
