JNB Construction

Talked to John from JNB Construction several times and set appointment time for estimate. John was prompt for the estimate. We walked the driveway and discussed what I wanted and would like done. John pointed out several different things that could be done to improve the drive, drainage and types of material it would take to get that done. He provided a written estimate a couple of days later. I did have another contractor out to look of the project, but didn't feel good about it even though it was a much lower bid. JNB's website has many pics of other projects that have been done. I wanted that kind of attention to detail I say in those pictures I wanted my drive to last. John came by a few days later and left the culvert for the job next to the drive as he said he would. I hade no surprises. The next day John showed up at 8 am and started the project. I went out several times to see how it was going. At no time did John show any irritation that I was bothering or slowing him up. He answered what ever question I had at the moment. We did have one minor hiccup with the phone cable, it was so close to the surface and I had told John about it. I didn't want to snap it if possible. However, it did get snapped. But with this type of work I had expected that it would. John apologized, but it was unavoidable due to the cables location and where the culvert was being placed. The cable has since be replaced by the phone company the next day. When John was finished the new drive was night and day from the old rutted out drive. The drive was perfect. I could not have asked for a better job. My wife was amazed when she got home that evening. Our drive was now smooth she is still very happy every time she drives on it. John even left us a pile of top stone to put down the side of the house for the walk. John is a very professional and personable man with over 20 years in the construction business. If I need anything in the way of driveway, dirt work or any of the other things he does I will call him first. This was money well spent.
