Inappropriate forced price billing of materials and warranty and work. Issue: I drilled a holed through the top board in my attic to create an access hole for running CAT5 cable. I nicked the two electrical wires and exposed the wires by cutting the insulating sheathing. I was able to rerun one of the cables but the other I wasn't able to replace since it was cut too low into the wall cavity and the cables are stapled to the support beams of the wall so you can't pull them out. My house was just built 1 year ago. I had the brand new ROMEX wiring purchased from home depot and they insisted on using their own. $1400 dollars later its fixed. All they literally had to do was rewire one cable and hook back up the light switch and gfi outlet in the bathroom. Forced me to purchase a 2 year extended warranty otherwise the "savings" would be more for not joining your member program. Almost all warranties are a money grab, so I typically opt out of them. You either stand by your work or the free market will put you out of business. Electrician, Danny, claims that the work I completed caused him to do additional work. I am an electrical engineer and just didn't want to go into the walls to complete what was remaining. So no, this company is a money grab scheme built into their business practices and I will be using anyone else but you. There are quite a few small business electricians around the area. Do a more thorough search and support someone's business other than this one.
