arrived at approximately specified time; put in new cable boxes, ran the wires inside the house with very little mess. He was knowledgeable and answered all our questions.

I received 3 automated calls confirming the scheduled time for the installation from Grande after I called and requested new service. They came out within 3 business days at 9:45am (the initial window was between 8am - 12pm) and were done by 11am. The service technician was courteous, professional, and very accommodating. He didn't tell me where he had to drill for the line into my office. Instead, he asked me where I wanted it placed and he would make it happen. Once the line was installed and the modem showed a clean signal, he waited for me to start up all 3 of my home/work computers to make sure I had a good connection with all of them through my own router into their modem. He then walked me through setting up my online account with Grande and showed me where I can pay my bill online.
We had suffered through 2 months of very poor connection speeds and frequent outages with our DSL service (6mbps download / 700kbps upload). After 12 years of using the same DSL provider, we were more than ready to try cable. Our current plan is 24mbps download / 3mbps upload for the same price we used to pay for DSL (45.99 / month). The first 6 months, we're paying a promotional rate of $19.99 / month.
An hour after the technician left, I received another call from Grande confirming the job was completed to my satisfaction and that I had received all the information required. My hope is, I won't have to call back for technical support (like I did 4 times in 2 months with our previous provider!)
