Description of Work: My parents use Grande and were having some issues with the service. They called and the response was great. They sent a tech out and he spent several hours ensuring that the problem was fixed and that there were no other issues and that they were happy with the results. Outstanding service.

Description of Work: Converted from regular TV to high-speed wireless network in order to stream programming and save money. Even though that cuts into cable revenues, I was treated really well, as I have been throughout my tenure with Grande. Not even tempted to leave these guys; they know what customer service is all about, unlike AT&T (where I WORKED for 17 1/2 years), and Time Warner, whose service dropped out and pixelated even on calm, sunny days, even while running ads claiming this happened only to satellite providers. Never happened ONCE with AT&T DISH TV, and I made the expensive mistake of upgrading to AT&T U-Verse, which had far fewer technical features, even in the handset, like stop-action and such. Blew me away how weak their technologies were. I'm with Grande for the long haul. Totally responsive, and they actually care that you chose them as your service provider.

I received 3 automated calls confirming the scheduled time for the installation from Grande after I called and requested new service. They came out within 3 business days at 9:45am (the initial window was between 8am - 12pm) and were done by 11am. The service technician was courteous, professional, and very accommodating. He didn't tell me where he had to drill for the line into my office. Instead, he asked me where I wanted it placed and he would make it happen. Once the line was installed and the modem showed a clean signal, he waited for me to start up all 3 of my home/work computers to make sure I had a good connection with all of them through my own router into their modem. He then walked me through setting up my online account with Grande and showed me where I can pay my bill online. We had suffered through 2 months of very poor connection speeds and frequent outages with our DSL service (6mbps download / 700kbps upload). After 12 years of using the same DSL provider, we were more than ready to try cable. Our current plan is 24mbps download / 3mbps upload for the same price we used to pay for DSL (45.99 / month). The first 6 months, we're paying a promotional rate of $19.99 / month. An hour after the technician left, I received another call from Grande confirming the job was completed to my satisfaction and that I had received all the information required. My hope is, I won't have to call back for technical support (like I did 4 times in 2 months with our previous provider!)
Description of Work: Installed new cable internet service. The installation required dropping a new line from the pole to the house, drilling through the brick wall to run the line into a home office, installing a new cable box on the house, and hooking up the cable modem.
