Exceptional. Michael Cook arrived soon after I phoned. He assessed the problem, made the frig run again, and gave me some hints on how to check for future problems. I certainly will contact him the next time one of my cranky appliances needs professional care!

Mr. Cook responded promptly and set about examining my dishwasher. I told him about my experience with another repair service---I had paid $49 for an initial call, to be put towards the cost of the repair, and the other service had supposedly ordered the part, but stopped responding to my phone calls. Mr. Cook didn't charge me for the initial call, perhaps because I had been burned before. He got the part in 2 days (the previous guy said it was still on order after 2 weeks) and returned to install it. The price was decent (mostly the replacement part) and the service excellent.

They service man came on time and gave a estimate for the cost to fix the dishwasher. He told me that the price to fix the dishwasher would be high. We ended up buying a new dishwasher. He did not do any repair work.

I was not at home when the repairman came, my husband was, so I can't tell the "whole" story. But we were satisfied with the work the repairman from Balcones did. At least he got the washer started again so I was able to finish the load that was in the washer. The previous repair person (not from Balcones) just told me to talk to Maytag, charged me $52.00 for a service call and left me high and dry with my unfinished load.
