Just Fix It

The painter I originally hired was to have started the job on Monday morning. He had a family emergency so could not start when scheduled. This set me in a full panic since I am in process of re-financing and had an appraisal scheduled for Thursday morning That meant I had to find someone else right then and there or have the house appraised in an unfinished state. Frantically, I began searching for a replacement and Just Fix It was recommended to me by a friend. Dennis and his brother, Randy, came to look at the job the same day I called, even though they had already put in a full day on another job. I explained to them that the job had to be completed within the next two days since the appraisal date was already set and could not be changed. They understood how much I needed their IMMEDIATE help so took the time to line up some extra crew members to get the job finished on time. They arrived earlier than any other contract who has worked for me through the entire renovation. They had a full crew of experienced painters, every conceivable tool they could possibly need to do the job and knew how to coordinate their efforts so as to keep out of each others' way while continuing to be productive. They made excellent suggestions concerning where to use trim paint, asked questions I had never even considered, forcing me to really think about how I wanted the completed project to look. Even though I was in a desperate situation, they did not take advantage of me with regard to price. In fact, I think their price was very fair considering the amount of work they did. I had my doubts, but they finished the job by Wednesday afternoon, cleaned up after themselves and left me with a beautifully painted house! In fact, I am SO pleased the original painter could not do the job because I know I have a far superior product than he would have delivered. By the way, the appraiser came this morning and commented about how nice the exterior looks so I thank Dennis and crew for making this re-fi possible!
