He's not cheap but he is superbly qualified. I think he was an electrical engineer in his previous work for the utility company. I would have no question about hiring him for a complex job.

He to search out old wires in the house to see where they were going because they were going from the garage and up to the bathroom which is kind of unusual coming down from the attic. But he's done a lot of creative things for me. Somebody told me from an electric store one time, that it can't be done, he can do it, and he has a sense of aesthetics which some electricians don't have. He's done some good work in the past.

It went well.  The problem was not an outdoor plug that I thought had defaulted, but another electrical feature that I never would have suspected.  He figured it out and corrected the problem quickly and with a reasonable cost.
We have had Yakov do a number of electoral installations in the house (ceiling fans, lighting, etc) and he always does great work.  Sometimes a bit pricey, but I am willing to pay a little extra to get things done correctly and well.

He was really good, friendly, nice and helpful. For replacing the lights in our kitchen it was like $300 which was reasonable. The ceiling fans were around $150 which was good too. We will definitely use them again.

Everything went as planned. We scheduled the time and he showed up on time. Yakov and his helper did an excellent job, and cleaned up afterward. He offered some suggestions that we followed and are happy we did. His prices are very good and fair on the hours worked.

This is about the 4th time I have used Yakov. He is a Master Electrician who is one of the most creative problem solvers I have used for electrical work. His price always seems reasonable and he is efficient and professional. The original person who recommended him to me was an employee of a lighting store here in San Antonio who told me, "If it can be done, Yakov can do it." Tell him what you are wanting and he will give you advice as to the best and least expensive way to accomplish your objective.

They were excellent. They were competent and on time. They were very clean. They performed excellent installation.

Great job. Yakov and his assistant showed up on time after scheduling over the phone and agreed upon a price. They worked methodically and completed each job with professionalism and even fixed another switch which needed to be left on permanently.
