With Victor it went really go and and his price was reasonable.

He got my pump and filter working right away. IT WAS AWESOME. He gave me tips on how to keep my pump and filter running better. He did so in a way that I understood him completely. He was so patient and courteous. He also told me what I needed to do in order to remove the algae from the pool myself. I would recommend him to anyone. His professionalism is spot on.

It went well. He was on time, polite and very professional. He wasn't able to help me since my pool is above ground but he was kind enough to give me the name of somebody who could help me. He refused any money for his time. If I had an inground pool he would definitely be my pool guy. Highly recommended if that is your pool situation.

Sam was very personable and very knowledgeable. The guy he recommended came out quickly and fixed the leaks for a reasonable price. Sam refused to accept any payment for his onsite visit. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone looking for pool maintenance and repair.

Sam and Victor were great! They were able to come right away & start the process of shocking the pool. Visited every day to check on status, and gave us info on how to maintain the pool in good condition.

The service was wonderful! They answered by call right away, showed up when scheduled and provided a very reasonable estimate. the work was scheduled the next week at which time they showed up on time (all the while letting me know when they would arrive by text). they did the work in a very timely manner within the amount estimated and cleaned the work area before they left. I will be referring and using their services to clean my pool this summer. A very pleasant experience after working with so many that were not before finding this gentleman. Thank you!

Mr. Garza came promptly and even sent me a text to let me know he was on his way. He saw that the real problem was the pool cartridge and offered a very simple solution. He only charged for the service call even though he also sealed a part that needed tightening. He was, as always, prompt, helpful, and professional. This is the third time Mr. Garza has worked on the pool, and it is thanks to him that our aging pool is still doing well. I recommend him highly and would not use anyone else. Kudos to Mr. Garza. He is the best!

If you're looking for good old fashioned customer service, professionalism, knowledge, and experience with swimming pools, then Sam, The Pool Guy is your man. I was hospitalized the last 7 days of June when we got all that wonderful rain in San Antonio. When i got home my back yard looked like a jungle and my pool was vividly avocado green. I called Sam and he came out to my home to evaluate my pool situation. Sadly, he said the pool needed to be drained and re-surfaced. Sam made all the arrangements and had the job completed in two days after our spring rains had abated. I now have a beautiful blue sparkling swimming pool that looks brand new. And the job was completed at a very reasonable price. I'm also happy to report that Sam's dad has assumed the responsibility for monthly care of my pool and he's doing a fantastic job - and also at a very reasonable monthly cost. As a 76 y/o senior citizen it gives me a great sense of relief to know that the care and maintenance of my pool is in very capable and professional individuals so I can sit back and enjoy being able to use my pool and not be concerned about the care of it. So, if your pool needs some tender loving care, call Sam. You won't be disappointed that you did.

Great work - very responsive in coming by to check on the problem and diagnose it. Great job on the motor replacement, he was very conscientious replacing all of the gaskets, we ended up replacing the impeller as well as crud had built up on it. Sam did a a great job and we'll use him again for sure.

Sam and Victor were awesome. Prompt, courteous and very fair. Quoted an initial price which I agreed to and when he got into to the work he noticed the scope of the work wasn't in depth as he first believed and adjusted his price accordingly. Extremely honest. I would recommend him to anyone.

Sam shows up right on schedule each week (even in the rain). He cleans the pool, provides all normal maintenance and checks chemical balances each time he comes. Sam is a very friendly, honest, hard working guy and I highly recommend his services!

Sam Garza is THE man when it comes to pool cleaning. Punctual, professional, friendly, knowledgeable ... what else could you want? Sam's been handling my pool maintenance for more than a year now, after my having gone through 3 other pool service companies who did not perform the work they were contracted to do. My pool is crystal clean and clear year around. Sam charges me $130/month ... a price that includes cleaning my DE filters twice yearly - a service for which the other companies wanted to charge me $100 extra! Trust me, you want your pool to be clean and clear regardless of the weather, humidity, foliage, etc? Then give Sam Garza a call ... he delivers!!

Absolutely superb. Recommends repairs (can make them, too) and is always on the watch for what kind of shape my pool is in. He did the one last week and the other one was three weeks before that. He's great. He came out after hours to help. He's easy to get in contact with. He'll text which was great for me. I love him.

This is the second time I have used Sam. Both times he was prompt and courteous. On his first visit he estimated the job and then after I agreed to the price, we scheduled a repair date. Everything went exactly as planned. He had all the right parts and knew exactly what to do. I love it when the repairman does not have to go back and forth to some warehouse because they forgot something. This guy is good!

Called another company first but they did not really service our area. They recommended Sam Garza. Sam came within two hours and helped us understand what might be going on with sluggish performance of pool cleaner. Helped cleaned out DE filter. We will have him back for some upgrades very soon.

We moved into our new home in Castle Hills about 18 months ago. We specifically purchased a home with a pool, despite never having owned one before. We asked around, and checked Angie's List. The same name kept coming up: Sam, Your Pool Guy. We called Sam and he immediately returned our call to set up an evaluation appointment. Long story short, we were impressed with Sam from the beginning and hired him on the spot. He has never steered us wrong, and keeps our pool in tip top shape throughout the year. Sam makes recommendations on needed repairs, and always gives us the options regarding what we need to do versus what we can probably live without. He has no issues letting you know when a problem is beyond his expertise (does not happen often), and will go out of his way to find an answer or recommend someone who can help. Sam is punctual, professional and super friendly. I've heard that owning a pool can be a nightmare, but honestly, we don't give it a second thought. My wife and I love swimming in our pool and we are incredibly thankful to have found Sam. If you have a pool, call Sam.

Sam is very professional and competent and trustworthy! He does quality work and is alert to repair and maintenance concerns. He is very knowledgeable and cost conscious. Able to trouble shoot the circuit board for the salt generator and replace same. Recommended changing cartridge filter to sand filter and purchased the sand filter and installed - professional job. Recommended a reasonably priced pool cleaned and installed same. Cleans the pool and maintains the chemicals in a proper manner.

>>If you are going up in heater size you will most likely need to upgrade your gas line to allow for the increase in gas flow. I went from a 175kTU to 400kBTU so I had to upgrade my line. Only because I wanted to heat my entire pool rather than just my spa. >>Whether you need a whole new gas line or bigger one; the further the pool is from your "Gas Meter" the more expensive it will be. YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY A MASTER PLUMBER TO DO ALL WORK WITH NATURAL GAS. In doing that the only person that can request a work permit is a Licensed Master Plumber! Sam cannot do this. I Paid $1,200 to my plumber Chambliss Plumbing. I highly recommend them. >>**Remember Sam is a pool guy! Not a master plumber. Once Sam is done installing the pool heater, then the plumber comes out to install the new gas lines for the needed meter. Then the city will inspect to make sure all is good with the new gas lines. If the inspection goes good the plumber will then connect the gas line to the heater.
