Wolfman Carpet Cleaning

Very good experience. I live in an antique/old house that has attached apartments. This particular part of the building being built about 1900-1910, and I wanted someone who realized the complexities of dealing with an old house. Called Wolfman Carpet Cleaning, a single owner/operator business, on 22 April to look over an apartment's wall-to-wall carpeting to see if it could be cleaned, so the next tenant could move in. Owner came out about an hour after I called, checked the carpeting, which he said was still in good condition and could be cleaned. I warned him that the carpeting was over an old wooden floor, laid at the time the apartment was built/added on to the building, and asked if the cleaning would harm the floor, and he said that it would not. When I asked him the price for the two rooms (one abt 14x13 and one abt 14x15), he said it would be $60 -- I was flabbergasted -- everyone else I had hired previous to this wanted much more -- so I asked him to add Scotchgard, and he said that would be another $20 (with tax that made $86.60). I was still very pleased with the cost, so I accepted. He got to work right away, and quot;steam-cleaningand quot; both rooms, finishing the job in about an hour or so. I checked with the tenants several times later, and they said that some of the stains had come back, but the carpet being a dark redish-purple, the stains didn't show much, and they were quite happy. So, if my tenant is happy, I am happy.

George arrived 15 minutes early, moved our furniture, oriental rugs for cleaning, and proceeded to clean the entire carpet, both down and up stairs. It usually takes him under two hours and he includes spot removal, furniture moving, and places styrofoam blocks under the legs of our heavy furniture. If I ever have to leave the house while he is working, I trust him implicitly - I leave and return and he is still hard at work.

He was very nice. He is just very responsive, flexible and does good work.
