Very happy with the result. My dining room table was an investment, but over the years, it showed signs of wear and tear. The owner did a great job matching the base to the top and it looks like new again. I would highly recommend this company and I will gladly use them again!

I called Windmill Woodworks to get an estimate for repairing a dining room table that was damaged during my recent move. I was surprised and turned off twhen they told me to send them pictures of the damage so they can provide an estimate. Their way of estimating the repair sounded odd to me, but I was curious. I have delt with plenty of furniture repair shops. Never got this response before. I sent them the pictures. Their estimate was between 600 and 900. Now, that's a pretty wide range. I asked them if they could come out to provide an on-site exact estimate before I could commit. The person I was talking with danced around my question. She gave me the impression that they did not want to do that. Then, I was told that if they came out for the estimate, they would have to charge me, no word on how much. In addition, their pick up and delivery charge were unreasonable ($75 each way). These charges were in addition to 6 to 900 range. Although they sounded like they knew how to repair things, I did not appreciate the way they did business. I will not be using them.
