Wilson Home Inspection

Mr. Wilson responded quickly to my initial inquiry about scheduling an appointment. I met him at the home near the end of the inspection and he provided me with very detailed information, as well as pointed out areas of concern. He provided us with a very comprehensive written report that included photos. He was prompt, professional, friendly, and very thorough. His report helped us make a final decision regarding this purchase and we would absolutely recommend him.

The home inspection was very thorough. Curtis knew the city codes and pointed out any items that were not in compliance. He takes pictures of every item and provides a very thorough, well organized report within 24 hours. Curtis took over 400 pictures of the first house we hired him to inspect. He not only inspects the structure but also performs a termite and wood-destroying insect inspection at no additional charge. In this case he found termites which was really the last straw for us and armed us with the information we needed to make an intelligent decision. We were so happy with Curtis's work that we hired him for a second home we were interested in. We were every bit as happy with his performance the second time around.

I arrived 5 minutes early and Curtis was already there. The inspection took about 2 hours and Curtis explained a lot of what he was finding. He took photos of every issue and made several suggestions about the best way to correct some of the minor points. I don't think he left a stone unturned. I happened to have an inspection report from another company which had been done the month before; Curtis' inspection contained many issues missed by the other inspector. As Curtis promised, I had the report the next day.The report was so thorough that the sellers commented on its thoroughness and actually increased the amount they were willing to lower the cost of the house. The $300.00 investment saved me $10,000.

Overall I must say that I hated that he did such a great job! Reason I say this is because the house I thought was in perfect condition turned out to have major problems which I would have never known about. The house didn't look like it would have had any problems; however, without all the pictures Curtis provided I would have never known. So he saved me from having to dish out money in the future.

Curtis was thorough and professional. He made an effort to explain things that needed to be fixed and what his recommendations were. I think that was above and beyond the call of duty and it was not in a condescending way.

Curtis was a big help in helping us walk though our home and found a lot of things we never would have thought to look at. We were in another state during construction and he kept in contact on the first inspection while we were not there. Then when we were present for the follow-up inspection he walked it with us and pointed out even things to keep an eye on. Being from another state, building codes are different and he helped point out some differences. He was very knowledgeable. He was also always on time. He provided an easy to read report with pictures to document each item he called out on the report.

Very thorough and professional. Arrived on time and proceeded to work efficiently. Informed me of what was being inspected and why and advised on how to improve.
