Whitley's Lock And Safe

The only thing that I should have done:
Researched performance and quality of best dead bolts on the market.
I'm not saying that their locks are not good, but usually I do a lot of  "home work"  before I make an important decision on something as important as locks.

They were very professional. They answered al of my questions. I was very pleased with them. They lived up to what I expected. I would rate them high overall and would use them again in the future.

It was a seamless, easy process. They even let me text a picture of my original hardware when I wasn't sure how to describe it. It was also nice to be given a $10 off coupon for being an Angie's List member.

I place a call to the company to find out if they could make extra keys for the front door.  The man who answers is professional and courteous.  We exchange information such as key type and he gives me an estimate.  He suggests that I show up in person and assures me that they have all kinds of keys that other places do not.  I find the place and the three keys are made.  He is true to his word. 

They were professional in their work and pleasant to deal with.

We recently relocated to the San Antonio area from South Florida and bought a house. We joined Angie's List over two years ago and it was such a comfort for us when we learned that we could transfer our Angie's List membership to our new location. Right off the bat we needed to find a locksmith to re-key our new home's door locks. Angie's List came to our rescue and we found Whitely's Locks & Safe at the top of the list for locksmiths in and near our area. It's easy to see why they get "A" ratings. From the individual who took our call and scheduled the outstanding technician who came out...the entire experience was great. Getting a 10% discount made the deal even sweeter. I called Whitley's on Thursday, asked for an afternoon appointment on Friday. The service call was scheduled, with no hassles. On Friday, the technician called about 30-minutes prior to arrival. Once on site, promptly began the work. One lock required minor door modification which was taken care of easily. I would use Whitley's again without a question.

This company is fantastic. I emailed them last night at 11PM and they contacted me before 9AM. I went to their shop- they fixed the broken lock on my tool box and made a few keys for me. Fantastic company- very responsive.

Called for service at 11AM and he came at 3PM the same day. Finished the job by 4PM. Fast, courtious and professional.

They arrived on time and perfomed the job quickly. The tech suggested that he use the existing front door deadbolt on the back door so I wouldn't have to purchase an additional deadbolt.

Wesley was on time. He worked steadily and fixed the locks. He was courteous and businesslike.

I loved them. My entire family uses them. They were nice and they showed up on time. I actually invited one of them for a party. They always do their job. They do what you ask them to do. I spent about $130 to fix the lock. I will definitely use them again in the future. I wouldn?t use anybody else.

I called in a panic, since my moms car was locked, in my driveway, which blocked me from leaving. He was here within 15 minutes of my call and took 5 minutes to unlock the door. He saved the day!

Responded very quickly after initial phone call and repaired deadbolt.

Richard arrived on time and went right to work. He installed two new door locks and rekeyed them to fit our existing locks. He was very friendly, helpful, and professional. He did a great job and was gone in under 45 minutes.

He did a great job. They were wonderful. They came out immediately. The guy was very nice and polite. I can't say enough good about him.

Called them and told them what I needed done. They advised which store to come to and to call before I came to make sure that their computer was not out on a service call. I called, everything was a go and my wife and I drove over. Their technician, a very personable youg man, spent about 1/2 hour with his computer plugged into my car and handed me my key. They are definitely now my locksmith of choice for any work that I need done. They have built their business on good and fairly priced service and it shows.

He was all business worked with the door to make sure the lock would work and hold for me. He gave me suggestions to keep the lock from breaking again. I was very pleased.

After duster last minute canceled appointment by another locksmith company because I did not buy the hardware from them for a 400% markup over Lowe's, this company came directly to my my house with no appointment and did all the work that another locksmith company refused to do without me buying hardware from them, saving me about $200-$250 on the job. Gene was the technician Whitley's and these people are bonded licensed etc etc. The aforementioned locksmith company has like 20 reviews here and a gold star. Every other Locksmith in the city of San Antonio has like 5-6 reviews. Doesn't this seem strange especially when the super gold star company tries to take me to the cleaners for $250 additional dollars (100% total price increase) then refuses to come and just do the install?? Could they be gaming Angie's List???? Whitley's are true uniformed, licensed, bonded, professionals, with several storefronts and marked company automobiles, they will show up and install your hardware without an appointment~~~BRAVO! The aforementioned locksmith company - will cancel an appointment you made days in advance when they learn you are not buying their hardware for prices marked up by them 300% over retail and you hear little kids crying in the background on the phone - yet somehow they 20 A+ Angie's List reviews???? Something is very fishy. We looked for this company with the real locksmith and could not even find them licensed!! Someone needs to alert Angie's List and take them off the top.

The guy came out within a couple of hours and fixed the issue in a few minutes. He said that it was a minor issue and also told me about the best door locks available. He was very responsive and very professional.

Very good service, good phone call to check prices and follow up to schedule service. Flexible to meet our schedule.
