Working with Tony and his crew was a pleasant experience!  Tony demonstrated openness to ideas we put forth and he worked with us in finding ways to save money.  We built a >450 square foot pool in a non-traditional kidney-bean shape. The crew was hardworking and took pride in their unique role of pool construction.  Each team cleaned up the area as they left, thus making it ready for the next team. Tony makes sure the pool equipment works well.  For example, the Polaris Pool Cleaner was not working correctly and Tony readily replaced it with a step-up at no additional charge. 
Due to the nature of our soil (no bedrock until approximately 10 or more feet below) a crack appeared on the decking. Tony sent his crew to fix it and said to give it a year to see how everything else settles. I believe his method of reinforcing the concrete walls with rebar and attaching the deck to the pool beam has helped to minimize settling cracks.  We will be calling Tony sometime in November 2015 to check out the year old pool.
Family has thoroughly enjoyed the water fun with its "margarita lounge" and massage jets.  The waterfall is likewise enjoyed by the kids. In the evening, the LED Colorlogic lights add a peacefulness to environment.
Pool maintenance is normal. About the only thing I regret not adding is a pool handle rail as one steps into the pool. 
Overall I would recommend Tropical Pools to anyone looking to add a pool to their home.  Our experience has been very positive and we are glad we went with Tony and his crew! He is reliable and dependable in our view!

The job went very well at first.  Tony, the owner was there to check up on his contractors, and everything seemed very good.  As, the job went further on the way, many problems came about.  First of all, we wanted the equipment to be put in the back of the yard
where we had our hot tub before.  He said, that the plumbing would not work well, and told us we needed to put the pumps directly against our home.  Well, as you can imagine, the noise is awful.  We spoke with 3 other pool companies, and they said that it would not of been any issue, and should of been installed away from the house.  Secondly, we ordered the pebble finish bottom, with a tan granite look bottom.  This was the second issue.  The pool is a lap pool.  We asked for turn markings on the bottom of the pool.  They installed them crooked.  It was awful.  Then when they tried to patch and reinstall, it looked awful.  Then they pored the pebble finish, and all the dye ran to the middle of the pool.  We asked for it to be redone, and he refused.  This was turning into a comedy of nightmares.  Then we ordered a larger deck area.  He did not allow for expansion joints in the deck, and we have over 10 LARGE cracks in our deck.  It looks awful.  Not only that, we had a pool party, and a child almost injured themselves, when they fell into the pool, when the coping broke off.  He did come back to repair the coping.  Then the electrical problems began.  OMG.   ALL the electrical does not work.  The outlets they install blow the GFIs.  The electrical for the lighting, has caused the lights to blow out. This is another nightmare.  He promised to put a privacy fence around the equipment, and did not follow through on that, as well.      Stay away from this company.

After receiving three estimates from other pool companies, a friend of ours highly recommended Tropical Pools.  We are so thankful to our friends!!! 
     Mr. Rodriguez came out to our home, gave us a wonderful price for a beautiful pool (which beat all other estimates), preplanned the pool and patio area to compliment our home.   His crew built the pool to our liking and satisfaction with his emphasis on high standards of service, quality and attention to detail.
     Mr. Rodriguez was always a phone call away when needed.  He and his crew were professional, punctual, and informative.  They explained each phase of our project and maintained the timeline allotted for each phase.  His dedication to customer service and product quality exceeded our expectations.  We are thoroughly enjoying our pool and new backyard space.  We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tropical Pools to anyone wanting a beautiful addition to their home.

Other pool companies came in and said they needed to dig up my yard to find where it was leaking. I called tropical pools and they said that the problem was in my pool pump and it just needed to be sealed. I was definitely relieved and felt I was given an honest answer. I called at least 4 other companies and it was going to be at least 5 days to get there. When I called Tropical Pools they worked me in the same day. When they got there i felt a sense of honesty and they just wanted to fix the problem. Their price was reasonable and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Tony from Tropical Pools scheduled an appointment to come out and look at my pool, which was in poor condition.  It was time to give the pool a facelift.  First of all he was early versus on time. For someone with a military background, I appreciated that.  We sat down at my kitchen table and conducted business in a professional manner. He showed me samples, and gave me multiple ideas and showed me previous work, which I was very impressed by.  One of the things that I really respected about Tony, was his constant eye contact and his willingness to be thorough.  Our business was based on my needs, not his needs to sell something.  Quality never seemed to be an issue, and needless to say, summer was awesome at the [Name removed] household.
