They did a good job.

I had a massive palm tree right by my front porch that the previous homeowner did not maintain that needed to be removed. Mike came out promptly after my call, gave a fair estimate & discussed what would be best. His crew showed up in time, were very professional, did fantastic work, and cleaned up their mess! You'd never know there used to be a tree there!

Mike and team did the work with care and listened to our questions and concerns. They even rehung and relocated our hanging ferns after doing the trimming.

Pruned 2 historical grade oaks and 7 smaller ones. Work was done cleanly and with care.

Very well.

Crew did an excellent job!  We've tried other services and his is definitely the best.

I moved into my house in September of 2013. The trees on the property are the same ones that existed five years ago when the house was built and have never been trimmed. My neighbor's huge oak trees were in his yard when his home was built and have since grown over my fenceline and roof. Mike and his crew showed up on time and immediately went to work, after reviewing what I wanted accomplished one last time. My neighbor's overgrown branches over my property? Gone!  My tree overgrowing my roof and my neighbor's fenceline? Trimmed way back. All remaining trees in my front and back yard? Trimmed beautifully. The crew was here for about two and one-half hours and when they left, all trace of them went with them. They cleaned up every last scrap of leaves and branches on the property and put it into their mulcher. A fantastic job!  I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again.

Mike was prompt with his service and took good care of these very old and big oak trees. He was very professional and cleaned up after his work was complete. He team even blew the oak debris off of the roof and in the gutters. So appreciated and wonderful work!

They pruned three of my trees. When they were done, the trees were funny looking. They told me that their look would improve as the trees grew out. months later the trees look fantastic. I will definitely call them back next spring.

Mike Jiminez and his crew did wonderful work... they are true professionals!  They arrived when the said they would, worked carefully and diligently, and finished the job in about 6 hrs. After doing the trimming, they sealed all the cuts to prevent oak wilt. They cleaned everything up so well that you could not tell they had even been here! The trees look absolutely beautiful... it is clear that these guys know exactly what they are doing!  We are very pleased with the work this company provided and would not hesitate to recommend Tree Services of SA to others.

The service was quick to respond; gave estimate to neighbor over the phone; returned the next day and removed the tree.

startedMike was great!  His crew was excellent!  I called in the morning to set-up an appointment for a free estimate on tree trimming.
When he (Mike) came over to give the estimate, I noticed immediately that he is very personable, knowledgeable, and professional.  The tree that needed trimming was in my back yard, and a lot of heavy branches were hanging over (and into) my neighbor's back yard.  There was quite a bit of trimming needed, and I dreaded hearing what the cost would be.  But I was pleasantly surprised that the cost was reasonable!   The fact that my neighbor was willing to pay for half of it, made it even better.
Mike's crew worked their magic with my tree, and removed all the debris during and after the job.  I had a few other things that needed doing, such as:  old tree stump removal, branch trimmed in my front yard that was hanging over my house, and some dead tree limbs in another area. So I had them do these, too. These guys were really good and very careful. Nothing was damaged during the tree limb cutting and removal.  I must add that we have 4 dogs and they approved of Mike and his crew!  The only time they barked was when some of the crew started lowering the cut branches, but it didn't last long.  The dogs were probably thinking "what are those humans doing on the tree?  Only squirrels and cats are supposed to be in trees!"  LOL 
I highly recommend this company and I would hire them again in a heartbeat! 

Mr Jimenez and his crew did a great job cutting back large tree that was overhanging my house and also cut down a tree that was growing in electric wires.  Thanks for your help!!

Because of the severe drought, many of the large trees in the lot behind my mother's house are dying and losing enormous branches that fall into our yard.  For this job, we needed a huge limb removed from the yard and all the other trees trimmed.  We called Tree Service of San Antonio again for the work because we've been using them for several  years now.  We love Mike and his crews!  They're prompt, courteous, and professional.  After they've finished the work, there is not a scrap of debris left on the ground.  Most important to us, though, is that Mike is a true arborist.  He understands the physics of the trees and how to keep them trimmed so they grow beautifully and won't topple over.  Our entire family uses Tree Service of San Antonio and we recommend them to all our friends.  Many thanks to Mike for another great job!

Mike is awesome to say the least! I got screwed over by
another tree service company. He came out immediately and looked at the job. Mike
walked me around the yard and pointed out several things the other company did
or didn?t do like cut the trees flush and seal the cuts. Mike then pointed out
to me three trees I had that were completely dead and needed to be removed! Mike
canceled another job that could have been pushed back just to clean up my yard
from the previous tree trimmer?s mess! His guys came out that day and cleaned
up my yard! They even finished the job the next day! He had my stumps removed
too! Mike?s crew had everything chipped on site with his truck. His crew even
cut and stacked some fire wood for me! Mike is reliable, professional, and a ?tree
expert!? Call Mike!

The final product was wonderful!  Our yard looks completely transformed.  Not only were the trees meticulously groomed and the hackberry removed, but they raked up all the leaves in the front yard, as well.  Within an hour of coming home, we had several neighbors stop by to comment on the work which is a true testament to the quality of the work.  We will definitely use this company again when we tackle the backyard.  They were punctual, easy to work with, professional, and above all, they did an AMAZING job!

This is the second time our family has used this company for tree trimming and removal. Mike is very quick to return calls and came by for an estimate within 2 hours of my initial phone call

Still need to converse about some trees in the back which weren't trimmed per conversation yet we weren't charged either. You need to stay on top of the communications process w/Jim and I believe you will be okay! I'll use in the future as long as the price is right and we have a clearer understanding of the work to be completed. We're satisfied!!

I have used Tree Service of San Antonio before, and I hired Mike and his crew again because they do good work, at a fair price, in a timely manner. We have a lot of oak trees in our front and back yards, so once every year or so I need to have them pruned and thinned. Mike does this well, and his crew makes sure to spray the cuts with paint to help prevent the spread of oak wilt, which is in the area. Mike has decades of experience, and I have always found his advice to be right. I recommend that you give Tree Service of San Antonio a call if you have pruning or tree removal needs. This will also plant metal support posts if you have a tree in danger of falling over.

He gave a timely response and was quick to come out to give the bid. 

It was a great service. He advertises 10% off for Angie's List members, said he would send us a check for it but its been about 3 weeks and has yet to get back to us which is irritating and I have called several times to get it. He told me that "he was not trying to screw us over" and said he would get it in the mail which was a week ago as well. Its $71 which isnt the issue its just the principle of the matters. 

I would have recommend him to anyone but the fact that he said one thing and is not following through with it is the reason why I am giving him an F and would never recommend him to anyone.

The Hackberry trees were all along the back fence.  Several were over a raised garden and a storage shed.  Mike's guys did an excellent job not damaging any of the fences or structures.They hauled all the branches to the front of the house and shredded the trees on site.  They protected the air conditioner with a tarp and cleaned up afterward.  It was close to a hundred degrees that day.  They started at 8:15am and finished just before 5pm.All the guys worked hard.  Mike has a good team.

I called to get an estimate for the removal of some trees and some tree trimming.  Mike called me back the next day and set up a time to meet. The price for the work was reasonable and we scheduled the job. Mike called to see if they could come by a day early and do the work.  I had other things waiting on the tree remova so I was pretty happy with thatl.  The crew arrived promptly,did a proffesional job.and cleaned up thoroughly.  Mike's got a great, hard-working bunch of guys!

Mike and his crew did an excellent job trimming the trees at my house and cleaned up the scrap pieces.  His team is very professional and I would use them again.
